  • Well done Kiran! Good luck!
Katini - I've had client feedback for 3 out of the 6 articles that have been approved, and i've got another 2 articles waiting to be approved. One of those has to get back to me today I think as its been 3 days now!
  • Hi Everyone,

SchminkyCat enterprises is really taking off. I've emailed them to give a quick gee up, hopefully they'll turn something around soon. I do wonder if some clients will just click accept instead of rating the text if its just small amounts. So long as textbroker think its ok I guess that's all that matters.

Thanks Katini, have you heard anything back from textbroker or am I being too impatient and are they working closer to their 7 day estimate? Good luck to you too BTW

My first article was accepted so i'm really pleased. I'm quite enjoying this and learning a lot too.

Makes me think i should start up my own blog/site.

I've got a second article to write which is due tomorrow... so hopefully that will go well!

    Hi SchminkyCat

Good to hear you're doing alright with this site, there's always fiverr.com to consider were buyers pay $5 per article less $1 commission or £2.54 in our lingo for your services. The key area is time and if it takes you half an hour to do one 300 word article then, your valuing yourself at just over £5 and hour which is below the minimum UK wage.

    Best of Luck

Anyone tried clickworker? I do a bit for them now and again, worth a look if this is what you are into.

It might be less than minimum wage but at the end of the day its money in the bank. I can't go out and get a job as I have no childcare, so the chances of getting something that I can do from home, is 100% flexible, and that I can just drop if one of the children gets ill, AND that pays more than minimum wage is pretty slim.

Writing/blogging/Swagbucks etc is ideal for me because I can dip in and out during the day whilst the kids are busy with other things, or I can just leave it until they go to bed in the evening. I started with various things on the 14th June, and have gradually added a few more here and there. Since that point I have made almost £300 - enough for pay for one of us on our holiday in Oct!

Will check out Fiverr - thanks for the tip off!
