Textbroker - Writing for money (not vouchers)

Signed up to textbroker and seems a bit quiet. Had my sample assessed in 3 days and got 4* so happy with that.
Got my first assignment but the instructions seem a bit vague...0 -
Sometimes they are! I've found that if the instructions are vague, they don't come back and say you've written it wrong. I find it useful to have a google and see what is written in similar articles and then try to find a unique slant on it. If you write something they don't like though, they will return it for redrafting with details of what they want changed, so you won't lose the assignment straight off for not doing it right.
Edit: I sound like I'm contradicting myself there - I mean if they do wish to have it changed you get a chance to redraft, but with vague instructions I've never had that request.0 -
So far so good, I have had 4 assignments. First one and my biggest earner got accepted straight away and paid. Already cashed that out. And that is the one that I thought was vague.
I have done 2 smaller jobs last night and am awaiting client feedback, currently doing one which is quite creative for a blog but nice, well set out instructions.
Thoroughly enjoying it and nice to be creative again, and be paid for it. Seems to be lots of jobs going but maybe I have been lucky
Do you know if they still freeze your account at 5 articles? I am on a 4* rating and in the process of writing number 4, but yet to have anything rated by TB. Its too addictive and I don't want to wait for ages0 -
They froze mine yeah, I think I ended up having to email them to ask as it took longer than they say to evaluate and unfreeze me. That was two years ago. The evaluations are pretty slow at the minute, they take weeks and months to evaluate my articles now so I don't know if they're just prioritising the new starters or what.
You must be logging on at more opportune times than me, but I do have a baby at the minute so I just get on as and when! I joined a team and there's loads of jobs on there but they're all PC games reviews and I don't play PC games, so not much point me attempting them!0 -
16 4* articles available at present and all around the 13 euro mark...0

I missed them! What were they about?
I've got one on the go now, just a short one about mobile technology but it's a request to rewrite another article so it's not a hard task. There's been quite a few this afternoon but not ones that I wanted to do, some had huge long instructions, I tend to ignore them because they're too complicated.
I go through phases with Textbroker. Once I wrote about 7 articles in one day, spent all day on the laptop. Other times, I can go for weeks without picking up an article. It's not always about having time, sometimes I just look and can't be bothered. But I like the freedom of that. I only use TB money to keep in Paypal and buy frivolous stuff from ebay etc.0 -
I had a very lucrative 4 months when I was part of a team for a big client in 2013, but rarely see anything now; I think it's probably because I'm not checking enough; maybe once a month.
Is there still regular work?0 -
There's been some stuff on this week but not stuff I've had the time to write as it would involve a bit of research and I haven't had the extra time.
There's a couple of frequently active teams, one is called Fast Turnaround, they often put batches of jobs on.0 -
Seems there have been a few articles about but they seem to be the lower paying end, but again quick and easy to do.0

Hi,
Have written 5 jobs for TextBroker, 3 of which haven't been evaluated by them yet.
Unexpectedly, the orders page is still accessible and I just successfully claimed and wrote a job.
Has any one else had this? Did you just keep working?
All the best,
Pearl0
