those are your banking details that it is asking for.... they can not pay you if you don't say where to send them.

I've used text broker in the past, not to earn income but in search of articles to populate websites. My thoughts of it were that it is a little pricey, maybe i am a tight !!!!?

I wasn't terribly impressed with my orders. I used to write articles myself but i find it boring and don't have much confidence in my grammar.

I am starting a new website venture which i am quite enthusiastic about and have a budget in mind of about a £1000 for articles, but i am unsure where to go.

The site i am currently setting up is a free bets website, i am hoping to populate it with betting previews of upcoming football matches and popular sports events, although the main aim will be to get people to click on affiliate links to go to the bookmaker and sign up as well as adsense income.

I figure that betting previews would be relatively easy for a writer to put together, they can research existing content and rewrite it, so that's not very laborious for someone who can write well.

I have experience of making money from adsense in the past, i set up a loan website and earned over 10 grand from people clicking on ads. I ranked very high on google at one point, before a manual penalty destroyed it. Guess i got reported by jealous people. I haven't been very active with my online work this year so looking to get back into it. There's something very rewarding about logging into your analytics and getting shed loads of traffic landing on your site.

Does anyone here have experience in writing betting related content?

I've done this in the past. Like you say, it can be as easy as finding existing content and rewriting it to make sure that no results are returned in Copyscape (plagiarism check).

I now concentrate on copy editing, which I find much more cost effective, but I could be lured out of retirement if the price is right!! :D

    Hi robinette.
What sort of betting content have you written? And do you have any examples you could post or PM me.

How long did it take for textbroker to come back to you with your star rating? I have just signed up and done the evaluation piece. Just curious. I can wait, mind you!

    Hi Nicholas,

I am a qualified journalist and could certainly write the articles for you.

How many articles /words were you hoping to get for your budget?

    Regards
  • Finding Textbroker very slow these days. There's a real lack of articles, especially 4 star. I've noticed quite a few 2 star ones which I tend not to go for as I think they often want too much for what they're prepared to pay.

Also, the Euro rate is awful! I cashed out and am keeping the Euros in my Paypal in the hope that the rate will get better at some point.

It's such a shame, I really like the Textbroker format, much more than the content mills where you have to write pitches. Does anyone know if there's any others that work on a similar format to TB?
