My account was frozen at 5 earlier this month, but as soon as they evaluated one article it was unfrozen. I've written 40 odd pieces now and I've still only had a few evaluations!
Edit: Sorry, that doesn't really answer your question. I think if you've had a few articles evaluated you don't need to worry.0 -
Anyone else tried writing one of the product descriptions for the glasses and contact lens company? Good grief, they're fussy. I've had so many rewrite requests for the half dozen that I did that I'd rather not do any more for that client. They paid peanuts, and it just wasn't a worthwhile use of my time.
There's quite a lot of regional ones up for grabs just now, but none for my part of the world.© Cuilean 2005. Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.0 -
That's my 6th job, waiting to hear back. How long did it take them to reply to you?0

I'm ignoring them, the length of the instructions put me off straight away, not surprised to hear they want rewrites.
There were some interesting animal ones up for grabs today but I decided not to take them as they said they were looking for an 'excellent piece', but they were only paying 3*. Now, I'll pick up 3* if the instructions aren't too challenging and I always write to my highest standard regardless of the star rating but I was in a grump this morning and resented being asked for 'excellent' work for 3* prices!
I have one travel one written over 2 weeks ago now that hasn't been accepted or declined, it still says 'waiting'. Is there some kind of limit on how long they have to accept it?0 -

I've been on the site for over a month and only just noticed the 'statistics' bit! I've got one 'waiting' from the 13/8, I don't know if there's a limit but hopefully they'll come through for both of us soon.0 -
I've had a revision request for an article. The thing is, the initial instructions were very vague and I wrote generally on the subject. The client has come back and said that they wanted something specific within the subject area. This was not discussed in the initial instructions at all and it would mean me writing a whole new article, I couldn't at all revise my submission.
I feel quite irked that I will have to write another article completely, it's a waste of my time. Does anyone know if I have any comeback with textbroker?0 -
Well, I've signed up on the website with my article but it says that it may take "weeks, if not longer" to review all submissions, so I'm not holding my breath.
They wanted me to write about sightseeing in "my city", only you can walk from one end of this "city" to the other in less than 15 minutes so I chose another 'favourite city' for my article. Let's see...Big corporations take advantage of the unwary, it's time we learned how to deal with them:dance::dance::dance:Any comments are based on personal experience and interest in consumer matters, they do not constitute advice.0 -
Is anybody still using the website? I'm having moderate success with open orders, not loads of work, but some.
Wondering if anybody still gets Direct orders on a regular basis? Or team invites?0 -

Same here. Nearly a month so far.0 -
I've just signed up for this. As a copywriter in my daily grind, it seems like the perfect way for me to get some extra cash. It says I have to wait a few weeks (at least) to be checked and verified though, so it'll be a while before I post any feedback!Goal: Debt-free by 01.12.16
