Thanks, it has put me off picking up any more. I've been back over it and I can't find anything at all wrong with the SPAG, so they've just annoyed me. I know they won't care, their articles get written anyway.

I agree about the slim pickings. There's been the odd level 5 which has hung around for ages and the level 4 ones are scarce.

There was a weird batch of level 3 animal ones recently, where a client seemed to want 70 articles about, say, bee pest control, then 70 articles about wasp pest control. I thought it was strange that they would want so many of the same thing.

I've signed up to Textbroker today and submitted my sample piece. However, when i clicked on the 'contact' page (not because i need to contact them but because i wanted to see where they are based) there are only addresses for the USA and Germany. Am i missing something or am i on the wrong site? Is there a UK site or are they all on the same website?

I just signed up and submitted my sample article. It did say though that it would take several weeks for someone to review it and get back to me, is this usually the case or are they sometimes quicker?

Since the famous Google Panda update (Matt Cutts starved my family) websites can no longer rely on vast quantities of cheap articles to boost their search engine rankings - which is what Textbroker's business model relies on. Instead companies now need lower volumes of higher-quality articles - Google is clearly pushing for more content written by trained journalists and copywriters. Which is why there has been a steep decline in available jobs.
