Just waiting on a few more pounds £co cashback which has just come through to be paid, also remembered we're due 2 x £5 rewards from bank account.

I need to find out when TSBPlus accounts get their interest also, as will need to skim that off the accounts and into savings - every little helps!

Having trouble with the food budget again - have already spent a lot and it's only the 1st of the month! Will try my best to be frugal for the rest of the month though - we're quite well stocked up!

I've just made May's main OP totalling £277.07 all together. Quite happy with it as means I'm ahead of the target - hoping to do a little extra each month to get us where we want when our fix ends. :j

Still need to pay for the boiler service and chimney sweep so will be really tight to meet the £500 savings target this month - almost half way there at the moment though!

Had a NSD yesterday, and have lots to do around the house to keep me busy so no need to be spending money today either :o

Making a sad attempt to catch up on Ad points, my points balance could do with a boost!

Had a whole of 4 adverts on adpoints!

I've been looking at nice houses on RM (nothing new :o). Brings home how much I need to save for us to be able to afford one, and even more so seeing the repayments on a potential mortgage if we bought one without a sizeable deposit.

I might get our house value din the next few months just to see if there's been any changes. Need to wait until it's tidy enough though!

Not really a bank hol for us today but hope everyone who has a day off enjoys it :)

I need to do some tidying in the garden, weather permitting. I have a lot of things to take to the recycling centre.

House really needs a good tidy up, it seems that as soon as I do it's back to square one the next day - how can 2 people make so many dishes and so much washing?!

I won't really be certain how much spare money we'll have until the end of the month now so I just need to wait it out really. I need to look into eBay to read up on the new selling rules...might finally get my eBay pile listed!

    I've managed 2 NSD's :D Doing a top-up shop today for groceries.

Ordered some pet food using amazons sub+save programme, added 5 items but they made a mistake somewhere and charged me without the 15% discount. I spoke to someone on live chat who said I need to get in touch after the items have been dispatched for the 15% discount to be manually refunded.

Boiler service and chimney sweep are booked for BTL, I'll get ours done next month.

    Meal plan is done:

Tonight: Buttermilk Baked Chicken/Halloumi with potato skins and corn on the cob

Tomorrow: Ching's sweet chilli chicken with stir fried noodles + veg.

    Friday: Fajitas with spicy Nachos.

    Saturday: Burgers & HM coleslaw

Also making Wholemeal Spinach & Potato pies for lunch and to freeze. Hope they're nice!

The potato skins were delicious would totally recommend them!

Currently eyeing up an ice-cream machine :o Neither my waist line or bank balance need one but somehow I'm still lusting after it. It would be £20 +delivery and has great (delicious sounding) reviews... got a funny feeling I will be purchasing - will report back!

Looking forward to our monthly payment going through, should take us down to the £92K's, which will mean we've just about shaved off £10,000 all together and have OP'd £4045.45 in 2 years :T So chuffed with it as I never thought we'd be able to OP that much as well as do things to the house/get BTL sorted,, I feel like a proper MFW now not just the half-hearted one I was a year or so ago who skipped lots of OP's!

We've got one an yes they make yummy ice-cream, but you need a big space in the freezer for one as it needs 24 hours to cool down before use and you can't put anything in or on it while it's cooling down. We don't use ours very much after the initial flurry of tries. It comes out about twice a year! Although it does make gorgeous sorbets :)
