I et the stash! :rotfl::rotfl:... and if I get a bigger stash then I'll eat it too!

It seems quite clear that you require a much larger space for sweetie stashing, possibly with a self exploding lock and emergency panic button access.

It would seem you have underestimated the severity of the emergency, I do sympathize.

    ALIBOBSY,

So sorry about your BIL, really heartbreaking in someone so young. Sadly there is nothing you can do but support each other and wait.

Emotional trauma like this really wears you out. Take good care of yourself, it's easy to forget to look after yourself when trauma like this hits a family.

    My prayers are with you.

Alibob, we are here through the good and bad times and I well know how much help it is writing it down on here and getting comforting messages back. Sounds like a good bunch of Doctors and Nurses which is nice to find in these times. xx

Just throwing together a pot of pasta and pork, first thing that came to hand to be honest. DS had to work today as the office figures were a bit low but he is such a nice boss he rewarded all his staff with bacon butties - new staff management tool me thinks :D

Snow all gone here along with the freezing weather thank goodness.Mum still snowed in and though she is 5 minutes from the town centre she couldnt make her weekly pilgramage to the hairdresser - her one treat - so she is knitting a huge toy clown for a friend which I will have to assemble and hide all the mistakes :o I dont care a bit though as long as she keeps busy. Her prepping paid off too, as she hasnt run out of anything. :j see you can teach an old dog new tricks.

Thanks Lynn. My Mum is a bit smug about it as my SILtries to give her advice and she is bl**dy annoying with it. Last week it was 'you should eat porridge, its good for you blah blah blah' Even my brother laughed this time, at the age of 83 she was brought up on the stuff and since Mardatha extolled the virtues of it we all eat it nearly everyday again. She loves hearing all about my friends on MSE and their advice and really took the prepping to heart.

Mar i was trying to think of the words panic room, but my mind was a blank, I had the same idea :rotfl:

WLL:- Sorry to hear about your poor cat, it's a real wrench to lose an old friend.:(

B&T:- What a shock for you, I hope you get some more work soon.

Alibobsy:- Share away pet, sometimes it's easier to let go on here rather than in RL. :grouphug:

Mardatha:- What's your post like? We could do Red Cross Parcels! :D I have various contents of Selection Boxes, Smarties, and Swizzle lollies. We like kett in this house! :rotfl:

Snow has come off one side of the roof and the gutter is ok. Silly how relieved I am. I'm hoping the forecast rain will sort out the other side.
