That was the TOUGHER thread love, not the PREPAREDNESS FOR WHEN TSHTF thread, a different entity altogether and nothing to do with prepping.0

:rotfl:So it was! I was never too sure of the difference hence my confusion. Ignore me then. The point about the large unwieldy threads still stands though. I'm sure it will all sort itself out. I'm off to worry more about how my family's small business will survive another recession....Life is too short to waste a minute of it complaining about bad luck. Find joy in the simple things, show your love for those around you and be grateful for all that you have.0 -

Ok, I'm going to be blunt:
There is still the issue of some wanting to talk about the present political situation as it is unfolding and others saying let's don't do that...this is a prepping thread. Many want to be able to voice their feelings whether they are leave or remain and other don't want that on this thread. So I think the question being asked is where does that leave things?
If a new prepping chapter (thread) needs to be started because of length that's fine. (Thanks maryb!!)
There are many invaluable people who say they will leave or not post if political discussions continue and there are those who want to continue discussing what is currently happening with a prepping frame of mind. So that now that there are two threads, should one be used in one way and the other be the different side of things? That is the question a few of us now have. We think political actions can definitely affect prepping.
I think everyone's feeling are rawer than I realized. No wonder with the current clime. Hugs to all of you as this gets sorted..
Overprepare, then go with the flow.

They won't delete any posts so I can take my time reading. Work is drying up fast so I have plenty of time on my handsLife is too short to waste a minute of it complaining about bad luck. Find joy in the simple things, show your love for those around you and be grateful for all that you have.0 -
It will settle MILA, this is a summer storm and will soon be gone. If the board guides leave us running it will be business as normal, if they shut us down there is the new thread if you choose to join or perhaps there will be another version of this one. It will hopefully however be a democratic decision by all of us rather than given as 'the finished article'. Hopefully we will continue with the freedom and wide range of discussions that we've had in the past, political or practical, and cordial relations will be established and all will be well.
You'll be fine Princess tippy, and we're here to help and give you hugs if things DO go awry, chin up chickie you're not alone xxx.0 -

We work closely with the construction industry. The housing market isn't looking too buoyant now unfortunately and a lot of the legislation we know about is EU law. Steep learning curve ahead but we will just have to get on with it. We've had to adapt before to the market. You don't get anything in life by sitting still waiting for it to fall in your lap unfortunately.Life is too short to waste a minute of it complaining about bad luck.
