I have been making myself laugh all morning with the thought of a bug out bra (not so much use to popwerwell or nuatha tho, soz). I often shove my mobile phone, car keys, loose change, receipts, memory sticks and god knows what else in my bra when I cant be bothered to take my back pack off and put things away properly. I am tempted to ask if anyone else does this but we'll probably get reported knowing my luck.
I would use my bra, it is large enough, but it is plenty full of me ;)

:(I'm getting increasingly worried about the current situation. Rising food prices, rising energy prices, you name it and the price is going up.

    Very worrying.:(

not much point worrying (which you have mentioned before, I know, implying some do so as a direct result of reading this thread)

perhaps you can use the nervous energy to do something constructive, even if it's just making a list/budget/plan whilst you have a cuppa tea :)

if you would genuinely like some help on how to plan for the future difficulties you are concerned about, I am sure you will be able to gain valuable info from the many wonderful posters on this thread. but dont look to me for any ideas cos I've got no commonsense, sorry ;)

Thanks catznine, I second the Dairy book of home management. I also recently bought the make do and mend one which is a reprint of wartime leaflets. Looking forward to more suggestions.
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

  • I'll second We'll Eat Again. I love being able to whip up a cake in 30 minutes from the 'Cake and Pudding Mixture' recipe.

Wouldn't we need a sports bra if we are running away from zombies?
