to install travel guide..make a folder called 4 in the install directory in my flash and copy the contents of the travel guide folder into the one you made..reboot the machine and it should auto install and create the icon in the menu..

I arranged to have mines returned to Tesco and they have sent me an email confirming this (without the discount codes I used) so effectively I am £10 up by returning this! lol

To the offers I had, thanks, but I left my computer early this morning and phoned Tesco just after that. Just to clarify I was in no way trying to insinuate that I was looking for a profit by saying 'make me an offer' - I would have happily taken cost price +p+p.

Just to let anyone know who is interested, Tesco phoned through to Medion for me who said that there is no way they can change the language from their end, and it is a batch that was never intended for UK sale. How true this is, I am not sure.

Anyway, thanks to Constantine for the original offer even after all the mix ups! I guess you really do get what you pay for - I am now the proud owner of a Navman something or other that worked perfectly when I switched it on - which is what I would expect really.

To those who have managed to get theirs working, well done! You are more determined and savvy than I am! And to those who haven't, I would suggest returning this as I think Tesco have realised their big mistake.

If you follow the instructions posted by ljjf it should only take about an hour at most to get english working.What takes the most time is copying over the maps.Once thats done you are sorted.
