My son is in that 'inbetween' stage as well. No longer a boy, but not quite a manNext do XS. Apart from Matalan, it seems to be the more expensive places that fit
At least his feet are size 8-8 1/2, which means i can just go straight to the mens dept. Size 6 was a nightmare!
I have been to Go Outdoors, and bought some shorts for my hollibobs, and some waterproof trousers for any littleone's that are here (& some for me) so we can do outdoor play whatever the weather, without relying on parents to bring suitable clothes! Just need to make sure I have a stock of wellies as well (going to check out the CS for those). We took Little Miss Sunshine and she had a great time playing in the tents and trying out bikes and horse riding hats
Cheap day out
I need to empty the TD, and put on more washing. DH has done my HHI :T I have also phoned a double glazing firm about a quote for a new door  The lock keeps playing up. It has been fixed once already (costing £120), but it is still not good. It went on Friday evening, while we were 300 miles away and DD1 was in charge  Lets just say, she likes to make a drama out of thingsDS fixed it, with help from DH on the phone. It comes to something when you have to rely on the 13yo to be the grown up!! I wonder how much this is all going to cost

JJ - with regards to your fridge, you could make a neutralising spray, which is basically bicarb and an acid, so you could use vinegar or lemon, put in spray bottle, shake to bits to dissolve and use. Not done what i said i would as i sidetracked0

and in other news.... DS2 sent to the shop for my national soft drink of which I have decluttered a glassful along with half a family size bar of bubbly chocolate;)
I would have mopped the scullery floor but my mop has broken and I need to get OH to fix it. So I'm now off to SOMFAADFA for a wee while as OH, SS and DS1 will be home about 5.30 no doubt with a mamoth washing for me so I am taking the chance while I can:DFunfairs list of daily dreads

Clean all up high spacesand it's proving really hard to shift completely, though I think I've got the worst off. Anyone got any ideas how to get rid of it? The tops of the cupboards are a kind of plastic-covered chipboard, I think. I've tried a few times with really hot water and strong sugar-soap solution, but there's still some stickiness left..
