    Morning

I'm in again this week. We go on holiday in 3 weeks and my Aunt is staying in our house to look after our dog, so a deep crisis clean is in order. Best start now, it WILL take 3 weeks.

As I was slow last week, my aim is to do this weeks list and what I missed from last week. Here it goes:

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
Clear and wipe the work tops
    Clear and wipe table
    Level Two
Wipe small appliances (descale if necessary)
    Hoover and mop the floor

Clean worktops right into the corners
    Level Three
    Clean all up high spaces
    Clean a window or two
Remove something from this area and put it where it belongs

    Clean hob
    Wipe doors, drawers & kickboards
    Clear a hotspot
    Extras
    Meal plan
    HHI x 2
Print off reward charts for DS's
Update diary with appts from school
Write a frog list to be completed before holiday
Get activity pack ready for DS2 after nursery this morning
    [STRIKE] WM x 1
    Put things on airer
    TD x 1
    Empty DW
    Make dentist appt[/STRIKE]
    Work 12-2
    Lunches for tomorrow
    Book bags ready for tomorrow
    Daily poo patrol!
Take non-essential tings of kitchen worktops and rehome

90 mins to go before I pick up DS from Nursery so I'm in for 3 HHC's. Join in if you want to!!

Sweating buckets. Just need to sweep, mop, clean the skirting boards and change Ds2's bedding and his room is done. Just popped down to get the sweeping brush and hoover and check on kitty.

DS wasn't unloading the dishwasher as I thought; he removed just the one cup necessary for him to make his cuppa

    So I've:
    unloaded the DW
put the DW on a clean wash with white wine vinegar & lime juice (should be interesting)
    unloaded the WM
    hung up clothes to dry
    put semi-dry towels in TD

Julie Jim - try vinegar (white if you have it) and wipe the ff inside and out. Leave overnight then wipe with fresh water, that should help.

Embb - I sort through my store cupboard each month, and when we use anything getting near a 'use by' date I HAVE to replace it ASAP! My things are in (very) strict order and woe betide anyone who disturbs them! They start on the top shelf with baking things (flour etc), condiments, sauces, pasta, rice, then tins of fruit and veg, then fish, meaty things etc etc, plus loo rolls, kitchen towels and cleaning stuff.

And that's not mentioning the cat's cupboard! Lol!! If the worst happened we could live a year on cat food alone - (then eat the cat - only joking!!!).

Bonnie - it's so refreshing to have sportsmen who, on the whole, are gentlemen. That match was ace - and although Andy lost, who can not admire the lovely Roger, who does so much charity work. And they seem to have 'normal' wives and girlfriends, not over-made up posers. Did anyone see John McEnroe's interview with Rod Laver? Rod was my first hero and John was so respectful of him - it was lovely - (sigh)

Flying, well, had a very lazy start. Cat sorted ( he gets his brekkie first!), birds fed - blackbirds and 3 babies today after not seeing much of them, made and eaten porridge, so just need to tidy kitchen and clean a shelf and window, then off to work.

Hope everyone has a good day and catch you later. X

:rotfl: good to see you have a plan for emergencies :)

I will see if I can find the McEnroe/Laver interview on catchup somewhere, thanks for that.

    Morning flyfriends

thanks for the thread Dusty. Sorry to hear about your mum I wish her a speedy recovery (((hugs)))

Just up about half an hour ago the posty was my alarm clock.:o
Did an online uniform shop for DD last night so I've updated my uniform list. I will need to go with DS2 to shops as hes terrible to buy for hes 14 this year and sometimes only a 10 or 11 fits him depends what shops. I take it that DS1 will wear his own clothes to college and just take overalls and working boots with him. I'm going to get stuck in to my room today before the T in the park lot get back with their washing:eek: I will be glad when they have finished pulling down and are home.
