Afternoon all
Dusty, I hope your Mum heals quickly.
Kitchen all done, also dusted living room and hallway and vacuumed right through downstairs and up the stairs.
Been hokey-cokeying the washing but I think I'm winning.0 -
Remove something from this area and put it where it belongs.. is this not part of clearing the work surfaces?
Not if it is on the floor, sofa, AGA and radiator like all the extra stuff in my kitchen drying from DS2's DofE expeditionfunfairprincess wrote: »I will need to go with DS2 to shops as hes terrible to buy for hes 14 this year and sometimes only a 10 or 11 fits him depends what shops.
I had this with my DS2 aswell. We found Matalan quite good and Top Man for doing smaller stuffI just found out the hard way that I can no longer lodge a mobile phone between my ear and my shoulder while I move the netbook off my lap.:( Ouch-ouch-ouchity-ouch. And a few rather ruder words besides.
Ah neck pain is horrid x
Thanks for all the healing wishes for Mum. I'm going over after school to see how she is getting on.
I've hoovered and mopped the floors so far today and been to town for a mega food shop for me and Mum and to return/exchange some bits.
Time for a cuppa now and as the school have postponed sports day - why it is at least dry todayI shall do some more flying in a bit.

DD not gone to school today. She's currently asleep on the sofa so I'm not going to disturb her. They're not expecting her much, but we'll try to make it in as much as possible over the next week as its the last full week of term. DS is struggling to take down a baby tree (roots starting to grow under fence into neighbour's garden) - it is VERY funny*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. I can see branches swaying around. Up and down. Up and down again. There is a frantic sawing noise..... he's using a bread knife. I questioned it and he looked VERY angry. I am going to have to go into another room, it's just too funny.*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.
