The very best advice I can give is to get going when you first get in from work, it's amazing how much you can do before hardly taking your coat off. I used to work very long hours and found that once I sat down, that was it, I didn't want to move! Good luck to you both.x
ThanksThink that's been my problem so far. As soon as I sit down from work every last bit of energy leaves my body!
Got off to a good start and have done all my agreed parts of Level 1 and 2. Waiting to see if OH does hoovering when back from tennis!
Thanks for the other welcomes. Been reading through all the posts and it's clear what a lovely bunch you are, looking out for each other. Looking forward to becoming a regular.

Lost most of the weekend recovering from 2 nights of Year 6 camp whilst doing my normal teaching during the days! Actually, I'm not sure I have quite recovered!
Realistically, I think I'll just aim for the basics this week and next and then go for a big blitz in the holidays - maybe set aside certain days / times for decluttering, sorting and cleaning each room .........
Valli - such sad news; huge hugs and prayers for all affected xx
Dusty - ouch! I can certainly sympathise with your mum - gentle hugs x
I didn't manage to read all of last week's thread so am sending hugs, prayers, congrats, thoughts and commiserations as required - please help yourselves!
Special hugs and prayers as always for Toots, L-L and LW xx

Well i finished cleaning in time andthe inspection went well. My landlord could find nothing to complain about so it was worth the effort. I just need to do the basics now for the rest of the week to stay on top of things. I've got tons of work to do soi can just get on with it without worrying about the state of my house.0 -

Morning all
Silly o'clock here. Went to bed early as I was tired but woke an hour ago with leg hurting so I'm up now with royal paws.
Mummyyof5 so happy for DS1 hope he enjoys his course
Nicki - I still have the DofE boots to deal with, DS2 can pack away the tent and sleeping bag today as they are dry.
Busy day full of appointments here so I'm going to get on top of some paperwork for an hour whilst it is quiet. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning All
Dusty - I didn't know you knew there were two 5 o' clocks in the day:p - hope your leg's ok.
Have you seen the weather? It's bucketing it down here and I'm off to Churnet Valley railway today with work so that's going to be fun. I'm tempted to put my waterproof trousers on! At least we'll be on a train for some of the time.
Just need to print some work stuff off and then I need to sort myself out some dinner and see where I go from there. There's still a bit of Mr T's delivery to put away as well so I'd better do that.
Have a good day all
Hugs
