Don't worry QB Wolf, the fact you're thinking about & planning OPs already mean you're miles ahead of most people!

MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. Forgive me fellow MFWs for I have not posted for a long time...

... I have no excuses - Summer seems to have gotten in the way, but we have had a great one, really enjoyed it.

I haven't made any overpayments, but have managed to get in better shape financially, although there is still work to do... isn't there always.

Mrs QBW has started enquiring about OPing, which is also v positive.

We've now been in our house for over a year and within the next month will be beginning the first phase of the work, converting part of the garage into a utility room woo hoo!!!

I've updated my sig and the mortgage has reduced by £2,200, which is OK, but would like to find a way to getting to the £200s a bit quicker.

Just made my first OP in 7 months of £17.55 thanks to A Frayed Knot, rounded my mortgage down to the nearest 100. I can't really afford big OPs but reckon I can do that once a month, I'm inspired!!

Ha ha here's another post to get me off the number of the beast.

Signature updated, but now I need to overpay 63 to get to 00.00 or 163 to get to 000.00.

Need to check my accounts, to see what I can afford.

In other news, the new utility room starts being done tomorrow:)

At last, wasn't sitting comfortable with me :rotfl:

Good to see you remembered the zero policy :D but you have big work ahead, and I take it that means big expense

Hope work goes to plan along with zeros.

Are you having an existing utility room renovated or is it an extension to create one? Either way I'm jealous - would love a utility room - good luck with it all - am sure the end result will be worth all the hassle!
