Thanks SD, part 1 of our mortgage deal comes to an end at the end of March, so have some decisions to make soon, would really love to get mortgage under the 60% LTV, so to be honest can't see us making a mortgage OP until I've found a way forwards on that.Start Date 16/09/2015

Tax returns done - Not quite last minute, but next year I will do them much earlier in the year.
Still a wounder of an amount of money to find, but nowhere near as bad as last year. Just need to work out how to pay the credit card and the mortgage this month. Will have to sell some shares - No OPs for me.Start Date 16/09/2015

Sold some shares this afternoon. Find it totally depressing, having to use savings to pay the mortgage, to pay the arrangement fee for the next mortgage deal and help to pay architect fees.
I will have to make a small overpayment to cheer myself up.Start Date 16/09/2015

Just sorting out the new deal on one part of my mortgage, I hate having two parts I feel really tied in.
Anyway there is an arrangement fee of £995 which I can either pay up front, or they can add to the mortgage, any advice?Start Date 16/09/2015

I'd probably pay it up front if I had the cash - how much will that extra £1000 on the mortgage have cost you by the time you pay it off?Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
Mortgage-free: January 2021
Retired: June 2022 (186 months early!)0 -
Thanks MWC - not sure but I'll pay the fee I think, but it winds me up, having to pay it in the first place.Start Date 16/09/2015
