Woo hoo, nearly the weekend it's our 5th Wedding Anniversary and we're going to a local beer festival setting myself a £20ish budget.

Mission accomplished, had a fantastic day and only spent 20 quid, bit of a thick head this morning though .

3 weeks now of stinginess until centre parcs.

I need to get out of my OD for the whole month by the end of the year.

Just checked my current account and I have £45 to last me 15 days. NSDs are going to be enforced - hurry up pay day!!

In July I managed to make £45 last me 15 days, my challenge for the next 14 days until next pay day is to spend no more than £50. I've done it once so no reason why I can't do it again. Let the stinginess begin.

Me second challenge is to be in bed asleep, withing 20 mins, given my tennis-a-thon last night:rotfl:

Unfortunately not but have had a very interesting day today at work, an olympic athlete came into work and talked about performance in sport and how it relates to business. Lots of parallels to the world of MFW.

Stuff about making choices, having a vision and goals, lots of the stuff that people here are doing.

6 days into the challenge and spent £30, so another 8 days to go and £20 left.

Had a pretty good MSE weekend though, we were given a book case, painted it and it's gone in our son's room.

Had a free ticket to the football yesterday.

Went walking on the hills which was lovely and free apart from the parking (which conserves the area) and ice creams (which are nice)

We resisted the temptation to have a takeaway last night - well done Mrs QBW, we've said we'll have one a month after pay day.

In fact the only money was spent on swimming, which I don't mind and arranged overdraft fee, which I definitely do mind and which is one of the biggest motivators to reduce my spending.

It was all going so well until yesterday, I was on track, then I took the family out for breakfast and we had fish and chips last night

So will have spent £60 in 14 days, by the time I get paid on Tuesday - 2 days to go.
