Went back to work today pretty tough as still not feeling well. All good intentions to do some more sorting tonight have gone out of the window. Looking forward to the weekend, three kids parties, my son's football, swimming Sunday morning, better go to bed!!!

Can not shift my sore throat, got a cold now as well.

    Work is challenging!!!

I seem to have reached a financial impasse, which feels the same as last year, I'm just not earning enough to reduce my overdraft and will have to wait until June, until bonus time to get out of trouble. I can't make OPs which makes me sad.

I am also a misery :D Just updated my sig and my interest has reduced by a whole 3p a day. I need to OP!!!!!

Money, money, money - not very funny in QBs world.

Pay day tomorrow, but an appraisal of the month shows my overall debt will stay the same. Mainly down to both cars having a big service. Need to pay our holiday off this week, and car insurance time too, so this month will not be any better either.

We spent all day on Sunday tidying and sorting and the house (apart from the kids bedrooms) doesn't look any better!

On a positive note we had free tickets to see Ocean Colour Scene last Saturday, and I've got free tickets to the football tonight :T

Not posted for a while, but quite a bit has changed. We were going to stay in this house, do some work on it and make it work for us, but we've decided that whatever we do the garden will always be small, so....

.... we went back on the market have had 5 viewings and 2 offers, one really derisory, and one which was lowish, that we've negotiated up on, still would have liked more but have to face facts we paid too much in the first place, we've been on the market for two years on and off and these are the only offers in that time.

At the same time the house we had our eye on was sold last Friday. So now looking for a new one, we've seen one we like but means going from a detached to a semi, so just not sure. Not an enjoyable time really oh and I've got tonsillitis :)

Hi QB Wolf - just wanted to give you a little sympathy, I so feel your pain regarding the house situation. We attempted to move last year and ended up over staying put for various reasons and a lot of agonising soul searching. The whole process in this country sucks! Whatever you decide good luck with it all.

Thanks Pushkin, well we've accepted the offer, subject to us finding somewhere else.... so we need to crack on but there's not much about :(

House hunting is not going too well, going to have another look at the one we quite like on Saturday and may put a cheeky offer in, went to see one today too but I'm not too sure. There's just so little on at the moment, especially in our price bracket.

So of the three we viewed, put an offer on the first one, but got nowhere near what they want and can't afford more. The second house was no good. We also liked the third and put an offer in, but they've accepted an offer from first time buyers with no chain.

There's nothing else on the market in the area we want so a very frustrating time...
