Hope that something better comes out of the restructure for you. DH has been made redundant twice in 10 years and at the time it was quite stressful, but the jobs that he went into were a lot better than the ones he left.

Well not a lot to report, the threat of big changes at work to come is hanging in the air like a bad smell, lots of senior management given the chop, just waiting for it to filter down....
...... and I have a bad feeling about it all, so looking for other jobs, halfway through applying for one at the mo'.
House sale is going badly, had a few viewings recently but no offers, people just don't want to live on the main road. Seriously considering coming off the market - confused!!!
Financially doing OK stayed in the black on C/As for 3 months in a row now and managing to OP £125 per month, not massive, but all I can afford at the moment.Start Date 16/09/2015

Work sounds stressful - good luck in your job applications.Financially doing OK stayed in the black on C/As for 3 months in a row now and managing to OP £125 per month, not massive, but all I can afford at the moment.
This is brilliant :T. £125 overpayment is a nice amount and any overpayment - big or small - is good motivation to keep us on the MFW bandwagon.0 -
Main mortgage payment gone in and sig updated, very satisfying to be getting more equity in the house.
In other news my son starts school tomorrow - we're all excited although I think there'll be tears - from his Mom. I've got the week off too!!! :j
I've applied for a new job just in case things go wrong at work and in the middle of applying for another.Start Date 16/09/2015

Not posted for a while and not a lot to report, school is going well for my son, busy at work under the sceptre of the reorg, but keeping going pretty well.
Money saving is going rubbish to be honest and for the first time in ages my overall debt went up last month. 20 days until pay day :-)Start Date 16/09/2015

Very quick update...
Job applications didn't come to much, not even an interview. Will know by mid November if I've still got my job or not.
Week off this week, but been ill since Friday, feel better today though. Center Parcs this Friday, looking forwards to that. Money situation distinctly average - not sure trying to move house and getting a bigger mortgage is a good idea???
My OPs have gone through the 8K mark though which is good.Start Date 16/09/2015

Hope everyone has had a great Christmas.
Haven't posted for a couple of months and time for my six monthly report, been an MFW for 2 and a half years. Managed to knock 8k off my total debt in the last 6 months. 17k in the last 12 months.
Managed to keep my job which was great, but lots of my colleagues weren't so lucky, which was horrible.
We've taken the house off the market and looks like we're going to spend some cash on it, which will delay the MFW date a little, but there you go.Start Date 16/09/2015
