Being more organised seems to be going ok, got lots of jobs on the list done, lots more to do. Feeling tired after two days back at work, so going to rest tonight.
We've decided to get our cellar tanked and converted, anyone got any experience of this?Start Date 16/09/2015

Hi QBW
just worked my may through your diary. I know it is depressing when it all seems to go so slow month by month but if you look back at the last couple of years suddenly those figures look massive. You are doing really well and if you end up staying where you are but spending a bit of money on it to make it easier to live in at the moment i doubt you will regret it. It will be a lot cheaper than moving and once the disruption of the work is over you will have more space which will be great. Life is compromise so if you have to make do with a smallish garden just now then so what, bet you dont look back on your own childhood and worry about the things that your parents were probably worrying about at the time? As someone told me when i was stressing over something - these are first world problems really. That helps me put things into perspective. Anyhoo, just wanted to pop in and say hi :hello: and say to keep yer chin up, you will get there

Hi Daisy many thanks for reading my diary - much appreciated. You are right, as a kid I had no garden, shared a bedroom and lived on a very busy road and I turned out OK (I think). Thanks again your words of encouragement are a big help.Start Date 16/09/2015

Motivation, motivation, motivation!!! Something I'm lacking, struggling at work and struggling at home.
Work has been a real struggle, I'm enjoying what I'm doing but the how is tough, my new boss wants everything last minute and then it's urgent, it's getting me down tbh.
Had a good start at home after Christmas but then lost my mo jo, good news is I've had a good night tonight, processed two carrier bags of paper work. Just found another three that need doing :-) That can wait until tomorrow night, up at 5:45 tomorrow, don't cry QB!!Start Date 16/09/2015

It's been a bit of a rollercoaster of a week, caught some sort of virus and missed 3 days of work, back in tomorrow, can't miss any more work even if I'm not 100%.
Sorted my tax return today and kicking myself for not doing it earlier so I could pay it through PAYE, lesson learnt for next year. Really got caught on the Child Benefit, again a bit stupid, Mrs QBW has had it but I'll need to pay a big chunk back. So we'll have to batten down the hatches and find a way of paying the bill.
All this means overpayments are a long way off.
Continuing to declutter, today was a pretty good day tons and tons more to do though. Onwards and upwards!!!Start Date 16/09/2015
