Hi SD no speeding ticket, thankfully, gave me a nice kick up the proverbial though and watching my speed (not that I drive like a loon).

Also dropping the house price seems to have helped, two viewings lined up one tomorrow and one Saturday - so everything crossed.
    Start Date 16/09/2015
Original amount outstanding = 225,000 Current amount outstanding =199,812
    Original LTV = 64% Current LTV = 49%
Original Pay Off Date = Sep' 36 New Pay Off date = Sep' 36
    Original Dly Int = 17.17 New Dly Int = 17.17 Total OP = £1319.31
  • Good luck with the viewings- hope they go well:)

Well the person didn't turn up last night so that's a good start. Another one at ten this morning.

  • Hi QB, just read through all of your diary, very good work!

I think those agents though have wasted your time with the price they put your house on at - as you said right off you thought it was too high. Stuff the experts, they don't care how long it takes so long as they get their cut and they are happy for it to take longer if there is a chance of getting a better price, meanwhile you are the one sitting around with no one interested in looking because it's overpriced.

I hope things go better for you now, but remember that their advice left you in limbo for several weeks, so I'd trust my own instincts more than what they tell you to do from now on. They don't care one jot about you...

Anyway best of luck. House buying is such a stressful time!
