Blimey I've been promoted to money saving stalwart!!

So what have I acheived today?

Emptied all the bins including the nappy bin
    Emptied ash from log burner
    Put logs down cellar
    Sorted the mountain of recycling
    Got painting stuff ready
Did a bit of painting and some filling etc
    Got some leaves up
    Tidied outhouse slightly
Washed my shirts for the week
    Went to the tip

So pretty productive, Mrs QBW did a lovely roast and now I'm looking after the kids as she's popped out for a bit.

Sun Holiday booked got our first choice place and date! Woo hoo living the high life!!!

Had to pay the balance today and booked an extra night. After such a great day on Saturday, can't wait for our little holiday.

Sent some paper share certificates in today to hold them electronically, will need to sell some to fund the car purchase, might also try and pay some off the mortgage, hate liquidating assets though :(

7 days until pay day. I reckon this month will be the first month since I started this diary that I'll have all of my current accounts in the black for the whole month. That's the positive, the negative is I've a got a big credit card bill this month. Need to duck and dive through March to stay in the black again.

Well that didn't go that well after paying the CC off, my main CA is back in the red - 19 days to go until payday, one thing is the CC bill this month will be a lot lower. So maybe this will be the last month of accounts in the red

Well had a lovely family Mother's day today. Nice church service then a lovely meal at my Mom's and the kids have loved it.

On the down side felt under the weather all weekend and today I spotted a nail in the wall of one of our tyres, had to get it sorted straight away - got a fairly big journey tomorrow - so it cost £136 - gutted :( Nothing I could do just had to take my medicine.

Glad you had a good Mothers' Day. We had a nice church service too - with a guest preacher who was very funny. :)

Sorry to hear your tyre was so expensive, but try to look on the bright side: the alternative would have been that you didn't notice it and had a blow-out and crashed on your journey tomorrow. Staying alive is worth the £136!!

Hope your health feels better soon too. :)

All work and no play makes QB Wolf a dull boy..... Seem to be working hours and hours and hours this week, out of the house at 6:30am and back at 7:45pm - don't get paid overtime either - just got loads on.
