Tell me about it... it was only the day after I forgot to take a towel into the bathroom and had to do a naked post-shower dash past the landing window to get to a safe haven!

This is going to be an expensive week, night out with colleagues tonight at German Market - Weissbeer, Gluhwein, Bratwursts etc.

Meal out tomorrow lunch time at Chinese, then out in the afternoon.

Wedding on Saturday, staying overnight at a B&B plus Money towards present.

Then I need to get Mrs QBW Christmas Pressies:xmassign:

Christmas Pressies bought for my lovely wife tonight, spent less than I'd budgeted so not too bad.

Last Christmas do tomorrow night, but most of it paid for by work, the end of the spending is in sight :T

Pay day in 15 mins - so may as well stop up and watch it go into my account - what a saddo!!! :)

How was it for you :rotfl:?

Strangely satisfying, the money went in about 12:45. I'm a bit tired now though.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas break, we did, my 3 yr old boy loved it this year, even my stinking cold that started on xmas eve didn't spoil it. Looking forwards to a relaxing tidying day today.

My usual DD OP went in today, so sig updated, January is going to be a long long month still 29 days until payday but hopefully it'll be a fairly thrifty one.

Had a great day yesterday - we tidied most of the downstairs of the house - the kitchen has never looked tidier :) Mind you my son said "me not like tidy daddy, me like messy" (considering he's 14 his english is terrible)

Bit of a rubbish day for the kids although my boy was happy playing with his new toys.

Today we're going to Bicester village, there are some things I'd like but they're going to have to be cheap, if they aren't will just go and have a good day - it'll be nice to be out anyway :)

Taking packed lunches to keep the costs down too!!

    Hi QBW
Have enjoyed reading your diary. I have mixed feelings on looking at daily interest etc. Our numbers seem so high it is utterly depressing but it does help maintain focus.
Hope you enjoy the day out.

Thanks Jellie, I try my hardest not to get depressed about it all, the first 6 months of my MFW journey has been tough and I've failed my initial target, but I have come a long way in 6 months (more on all of that soon).
