I agree with everyone else - you've done fantastically well QB :T:T:T

    Don't holidays go shockingly fast!

In my mortgage spreadsheet I work out figures for where we are based on just mortgage payments and in our case the impact of our offset savings. Even if we don't add another penny from now on we'd still have knocked a couple of years off the mortgage.
As another long hauler I try and calculate everything possible in the hope that something will keep me inspired! It also gives me a choice of shorter term targets ( getting daily interest below....., offsetting ......% of mortgage etc)

Maybe we could compile a list of things? I'm 'lucky' as we have 3 mortgages so more things happening IFSWIM. As a start:
    • Mortgage drops into next thousand bracket
    • Mortgage drops into next ten thousand bracket (mucho celebrations)
    • Offset climbs into next thousand bracket
    • Offset climbs into next ten thousand bracket (mucho celebrations)
    • Daily interest drops by 1p
    • Daily interest drops into next £ bracket (mucho celebrations)
    • MF date comes forward a month (mucho celebrations)
    • MF date drops into earlier year (mucho, mucho, mucho celebrations)
    • Offset % increases
    • Offset % goes into next 10% bracket (mucho celebrations)
    • Offset = mortgage (faints :D)
    • Days knocked off mortgage
    • Interest saved (I know this would be good but I've never done it)

I must say I like to have little celebrations based around.

    OP Milestones
    LTV Milestones
    Outstanding Balance Milestones
    Daily Interest Milestones

The next big one is going below £20 DI
    Start Date 16/09/2015
Original amount outstanding = 225,000 Current amount outstanding =199,812
    Original LTV = 64% Current LTV = 49%
Original Pay Off Date = Sep' 36 New Pay Off date = Sep' 36

My list is similar. I don't have an offset mortgage, so I don't celebrate changes in offset %, but I do calculate the % of equity that I own, and celebrate when that gets to a new whole number. (Although that's only happened once so far, which was a huge huge event for 75% :D) Despite not having an offset, I do calculate how much my (borrowing - ISA) is, and have mini-milestones for that, and also find changes to my projected neutral date - ie when ISA = borrowing. Most of all of that is in my sig:

I need to do the tax returns today

So it's the annual paper chase round the house today and a vow to be more organised going forwards :( Which I will invariably fail again.

    Dull, dull, dull!!

16 days until payday - feel like I'm in a straight jacket and unable to do anything in terms of OPing.

Had 3 NSDs this week, which is one thing I suppose. Here's to payday
