Well, dreaming's free. You'd better hope the houses she's looking at give her some great ideas for making your house nicer without spending much on it. (Well, you can but hope, anyway.
)
It really seems unfair, sometimes. People post on here about houses they're looking at, and some of them live in areas so much cheaper than mine that I can only drool over the prices. Still, I choose to live in this part of the country, so I can't complain, really. It's frustrating because we'd love a house with a bigger garden for the kids, better parking and quieter, but we can't afford it.
Thanks for your replies - much appreciated

My pleasure! I appreciate your replies on my diary too.
Here's hoping you can get that FD mortgage in the bag, so you'll be getting towards that nicer house £68pm faster!

Not a bad day - curtain pole and curtains up in my Daughters room, just a couple of little jobs to do in there now and then just needs carpeting.
Had a nice afternoon at mother in laws, Easter egg hunt that my son loved and a very nice lamb dinner.
Wonder if the tip is open tomorrow, could do with going!!Start Date 16/09/2015

Ours opens on bank holidays but only in the mornings - which is what it usually does on Sundays.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Sounds like you had a good day yesterday.
Our local tip is open today (all day Sunday hours) and I am staying away as the Bank Holiday is the busiest time of the year and you end up queuing for an hour to get in!0 -
