I took one of the shelf and had a quick look through. I started reading a passage about cod bites and thought to myself there is no way what soever I am going to buy it, it looks rubbish.

I flicked through the book simply for research purposes, and it did nothing for me. I think the bloke seems a bit of a prat to be honest.

So Mummy !!!!!! is now a new genre...
I know a couple of the big publishing houses have bussed in a load of 'moms' and they are sitting in a locked room churning out the copycat versions..... sad. Anything to make a quick buck
There was a publisher on the tv the other day. He said that he knew several other publishers that were rushing forward similar books of the same genre and look.
They would be out in July he said. So I expect they will be written as badly as this one. :)

That's the business I suppose, same as anything, jump on the latest bandwagon.

What's a cod bite? :o Is it some sexual reference I don't get?

:rotfl:no, they are in a fish restaurant according to all my friends who rave about it.

Some friends however have tried and tried to read the book, but end up falling asleep:j

    Omg, this is very funny.

Maybe the laughter is worth the purchase after all?

I'll finish by stating that I have read about three pages of 50 Shades of Grey because my boss demanded it,

I'm going back to the Pets board now, this place is scary!
Nooooooo don't go. I want to know more about your bosses demands. Did he tie you to the office chair and insist you read aloud? :D
