Has anyone tried the Asda Smartprice washing powder and fabric softener? If so what do you think of them?

Looks like the consensus is that people like them :j So I'll add this to the What Value Things Have You Tried and Liked thread.

Both the Value and Smart Price Sauasages are nice. But the Value sausages (chilled ones) are quite hard to find now and the Smart price ones didn't last long at 16p so they're back upto 54p!!!!
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

I find the Tesco Liquid Washing Powder great for a quick wash at 30 degrees I tried using the tablets at 30 but the clothes came out with tablet residue. I find the Tesco tablets fine at 40 and there is a lovely scent and is half the price of the branded one.

    asda smart price vanilla cheesecake
    asda smart price chocolate mouse
    asda smart price eggs
asda smart price jaffa cakes (everyone said this one i think)
    asda own brand crisps
tesco own brand blue doritos (or cool tortilla chips)

i never tried smart price super noodles though
  • Payday tomorrow and I had run out of t bags. I am usually quite picky about t bags but bought sainsburys basics and they are not too bad and only 31p for 80

    Morrison salt and vinegar crisps.

I love salt (know I shouldn't) but even I find lots of salt and vinegar crisps make your mouth curl up, but Morrisons crisps in sunflower oil are just right.

Well we've had our first real value failure. Value meatballs have been given a big thumbs down by my meatball connoisseur DD. I have to say when I opened the can they did smell pretty revolting. The cat is presently wolfing down the half can that I can't in all decency put in front of DD again LOL.

And pet lovers, yes I know there's probably too much salt in it for the cat, but I figured once wouldn't kill her and she normally eats Iams, so she isn't exactly hard done-by!
  • and another couple for you

tesco value imperial mints - lovely and delish
tesco value bath foam - great for handwash refill as it's only 20p
