My kids already have a mummy! We use the cheapest loo roll all the time in our loo that has a macerator, as it saves the motor. It's not that bad when you're used to it. Other than that I buy whatever is on offer for the rest of the house. I always get value tissues, value kitchen roll

Asda SmartPrice individually wrapped chocolate digestive bar biscuits, chocolate wafers and chocolate caramel wafers are all decidedly delicious. If they were placed on a pretty plate with a doilie nobody would know that they weren't more expensive ones. Just don't let the brand snobs in the family see the plain wrappers :D!

Talking of brand snobbery i caught my brother out..he he he

he had a bbq on his birthday a couple of weeks ago so i offered to make mars bar cake.
Took the cake not one piece left at the end ........made from basic butter, chocolate aand rice crispies i admit i used mars bars but only cos they were on offer!

Did he tell the difference ......... NO :rotfl:

Also took cup cakes made with all basic ingredients could they tell the difference..........again NO :rotfl:

Last week in Asda, I put through all my colour co-ordinated produce (green and white packaging) at the checkout and Asda own label stuff and then followed it through with four boxes of Whiskas Senior Catfood and a bag of Iams. The operator looked a bit amazed when those arrived in front of her and looked up at me. I smiled back and said 'You can tell where most of the money goes in our house can't you?'. Flaming cat! - I could really cut my budget only for him.
