    In Sainsburys:
toilet roll, soya milk (when need to as make own), flour, orange juice, apple juice, tin plum tomatoes, tin sweetcorn, spounge scours, washing up liquid, refuse sakes, kitchen roll, kitchen foil, oven chips, orange squash, pasta sauce (when I need to), sweet and sour sauce (again when I need to), tomato sauce, tomato juice, vinegar, white rice (although prefer wholegrain/brown), beans

    My boyfriend buys in sainsburys:
bread, brie, ham slices, chedder cheese, red leicester cheese, bacon, butter, marg

We will buy these in value in Tesco if we are there and if we have found them similar. Would buy oats in basic if they had them in.

I don't buy any of my fresh fruit and veg from supermarkets unless it's on the reduced section and I'm in need of it. I find the local grociers better quality for less money even with my boyfriends Sainsburys discount card.

Things I don't usually or refuse to buy basic/value/sp:
pasta (I like wholemeal), fruit and veg (reason mentioned above), coffee (YUK just no usually get sainsbury's full roast instant coffee granules 500g instead), tea (YUK)
I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy :D

Sissy - i bought Asda Smartprice version of Cif cream cleaner, & I use it for my hob & find it fine. My hob doesn't get that dirty, so dunno what it would be like on serious grime !

Today I have bought Tesco value washing up liquid for 13p and it's got my dishes as clean as the more expensive washing up liquid does.

Is it still quite runny BS ?

I ask because I remember buying it when I was teaching for the kids to use when they washed up the painting stuff (much sort after job) and the first time the 3 girls who were on washing up detail used it they managed to use the whole of 2 bottles in about 20 mins it came out of the bottles really quickly :rotfl: (blimey that was a long sentence :o good job I'm not teaching any more

I've found the Tesco Value range of biscuits to be really good - their digestives (just the good old plain ones) are fab and only 22p a packet. Have also had their wholemeal bread which was really good but for some reason is really hard to come by (don't know why). B/beans are OK but the sauce is a bit thin. Pitta bread and orange juice OK too. Avoid the rubber gloves (fingers stick together after only a few uses!!). Will let you know if I think of any more.
Sprinkle a bit of talc in them-this will sort them out!
