I couldn't just eat them, it's be like eating sawdust!

They'd be perfect in banana and bran muffins.

I'm not sure - perhaps you should send me a batch of them for a taste test before you give them to your loved ones ?

you can put any cereal in the oven for a few minues to crisp them back up I have been doing this with cornflakes for years - I think they taste a bit nicer too

My mum saves all the bits at the bottom of the packets for the christmas rumballs. We make ours with biscuit crumbs, so a bit of extra crunch doesn't hurt. It actually makes them taste better. Also try a google search for "afghan biscuits". They're a chocolate biscuit with icing on top that uses cornflakes, but we always use whatever's in the house. Very yummy!
  • Not sure if it's been suggested yet as not read all the replies but I save our Weetabix crumbs for topping on macoroni cheese.

Sprinkle over the top of the pasta with a bit of cayenne pepper - yum!

    Don't throw em away :money:

I've got loads of the little mini boxes of cereal to use, from the Nestle pik paks.
My son won't eat them, so we have -
Nestl! Curiously Cinnamon, Nestl! Nesquik Cereal, Nestl! Cookie Crisp and Nestl! Golden Nuggets.
Anyone got any suggestions what I could use them for.
    Thanks

scrunch them all up and then coat them with melted chocolate and put mini eggs in the middle. If your son won't eat them then, give them to friends and neighbours as Easter Gifts.
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.
