I save breadcrumbs in a box and when I have enough I give them a quick toasting in a pan and add them to soups or salads - surely the same can be done for cereals (if sugary, can be added to crumble toppings).
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

My worms in the wormery love them, and if they are happy they make lovely compost for growing fruit and veg :)

The crumbs from a box of shreddies? I was sifting the crumbs from the last of the whole ones and there is loads left.

Seems a shame to waste them.

    Thanks. :)

I just eat them the same as the whole ones!

They'd probably be nice on top of bananas baked or grilled with brown sugar and cinnamon though, give them a bit of crunch.

Ditto, just eat them! Thats what I do. Why throw them away/waste them?

Add them to a crumble topping to make it a bit more crunchy. Add them to your next box of shreddies and eat them. Or throw them out for the birds.

    Hi wendy,

There was a recent thread with some more ideas that should help so I've added your thread to it to keep the suggestions together.
