What a good idea..... I can def put them into bags and seal them!0 -
i always fold over the top of the cereal bag and clip it with a peg. lasts a good 3-4 weeks like this i find.0

If it does go stale, try spreading it on a flat baking tray and putting it in a low oven for half an hour or so. Usually revives slightly stale things such as cereals, biscuits and crisp type snacks.Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0

My mum used to make *cornflake crunch* Stewed apple topped with cornfalkes that had been stirred into melted demerara, syrup and butter. Leave to cool and serve with evaporated milk, for that authentic 1970s feel :T :T

I was just talking about this to my OH and she had never heard of it. I used to love it at school.0 -
I use the Tesco Value 'weetabix' and always end up with lots of crumbs in the bottom of the box which I normally use to top macaroni cheese.
I have now collected about 200g of crumbs and was wondering if I could make some sort of flapjack out of them .... any ideas?
I've only got a small amount of both honey and trecle but loads of butter and half a bag of oats x
Thanks for any help x

They'll be fine to use. I always used any leftover biscuit crumbs or cereal crumbs, dried fruit, coconut etc when my kids were small. Just used to adapt any kind of flapjack or chocolate crispy cake type recipe!0

Or you could use them for weetabix cake or weetabix brownies, recipes in the grocery challenge thread! It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0
