the usual ones I download are in avi (divx or xvid)and other places like a coupla stores on Ebay have the same one but are maybe £15-20 more expensive.Pixmania arent the best, mine took exactly a week to arrive and it comes with a european 2pin plug on and an adapter.it looks great on HDMI on my 32" AOC lcd.
and multi region too0 -
mine played multi region straight from the box.
So far I've only tried normal DVDs thru the HDMI, looks great on 720i but any higher and everyone looks like they've been painted with oil paints.
could be my tv won't upscale higher!
i don't really use the DIVX thing cos I have a hd media player so I dunno bout upscaling any HD content.
I'll have to burn a disc with something capped from HD source.
it upscales in both PAL and NTSC with it being multi region.
Watched Revenge of the sith and it looked a lot crisper but I had to mess slightly with the colour and contrast conpared to the scart it looked a little less rich in colour but more defined!
Serenity in Region 1 NTSC looked fab too.:: No Unauthorised Links in Signatures please - FM ::0 -

can anyone help me out?
i have put some film avi files and folder full of mp3's on to a DVD+RW disc but the player won't read the disk.
i brought this machine as i wanted to fill a dvd-rw disc with avi's but it does not work, am i missing something?
cheers.
can some else try it with their machine?Google gives you answers use it.........0 -
From what I've seen, the reviews for this machine aren't all that great - take a look at this thread for starters. Also, it apparently can't read files in folders, so if you want it to see the files, you'll have to burn/store them as a list, preferably in the order you want to see them in.BSC #53 - "Never mistake activity for achievement."

Hi Is there a dvd player that will play REAL PLAYER format..
The films I download are from east asia and the majority of them are in REAL PLAYER format...0 -
very much doubt you'll get any dvd player that plays real media format.
The Sigmatek I own, the only problems I've had with it so far is that I have to make sure the discs are very clean.
a slight finger mark or whatever and it sticks.
like the player is more sensetive to it.
other than that its so far played everything i've given it.:: No Unauthorised Links in Signatures please - FM ::0 -
