I got a Silvercrest Xvid dvd player with multi card reader including usb for £29.99 before Xmas they still doing this offer when in stock - best dvd player I have had and I have had Panasonics and Sonys!! The Usb function is just great - especially if you have mp3s and a cinema surround - complete plug and play yr music.

Hi, does anyone know if their player supports xvid, divx 3,4,5 and pro?
I have looked around but most sites dont give such details.
I am interested in the argos or the kazuki ones in particular.

I've just orded one although my plasma is only 480p hopefully it will make me future proof + i really wanted USB input.
About the Eltax Warning, I've just read that Eltax made an order for these DVD players than cancelled the order..... so the factory has sold them of as generic players..

This one looks really good - couple of questions, will it play a 720p DivX native out of the HDMI port, or does it scale everything from PAL up to 720p? Also, will it play XviD, MP4 and H264? Is there any way of finding out?
These all seem too good for the money - for the same playback capability in a PC you'd need a pretty modern spec one!0
