Has everyone got their sunswaps ready, I've changed my parcel about 6 times already, and will probably change it again before I post it. Really can't make up my mind what to send.

More outs for me - 2 x Plax mouthwash samples I've given to a friend and UU Original source lavender and tea tree bath foam. I'm targetting the splutterers first to get some quick wins in slimming down my stash. I really don't want to buy any toiletries at all for the rest of the month. As well as toiletries I've been hoarding household cleaning products - I've decided not to buy any more of those for the rest of the month too. Bring it on!

The hoarding of cleaning products is ringing some bells with me. My mum has always had a big issue with this (amongst hoarding quite a few other things too). I shouldn't complain as I do get some wee extras from mum for nothing. I have been keeping an eye on the OS Forum who have started up a hoarding thread. I do watch some of the hoarding programme but must admit I do feel uncomfortable during them. Keep getting the urge to vacum or do the dishes whilst it is on. :rotfl:
    Hi,
I've been lurking in this post for a while but think I should really join!
Have been trying to clear out my clutter as I'm on maternity leave, but I have soooooo much stuff.

Will post a stash list later!

Welcome Pinkphoenix - good luck with the challenge and declutering.

    Hi All

I have been lurking for a little while now but more so recently as I've lost my job. To be honest I have mainly been using the thread of ideas of things to buy (which goes right against the whole idea of it!):o I guess I have been buying things (mainly L'Occitane) to cheer myself up a little but it could easily get out of hand so I decided to make a list of all my stuff. I didn't think I had much but it seems like more when you write it all down! Though there are quite a few samples/travel size products (I like trying new things so samples and travel size products are great to stop me getting bored!)

My main plan is just not too buy too much and to try and use some of the things up I had forgotten I had tucked away. I certainly don't need any shower gel, body moisturiser or hand cream!! :D

Welcome melh1979 - Its good that you have already identified some areas that you buy too much of and it should help you to resist some future purchases for a bit.

No UU action here - just going to bed for a really early night (have to be at work for 6am tomorrow):eek::eek:

my elle mag came and the free st tropez is going straight to my mum. she's off on holiday at weekend so might get some use out of it. i just look orange with fake tan :rotfl: idiot postie just left it propped up against the door, no attempt to hide it or anything. I'm surprised it was still there and in one piece (and not sopping wet!)!

  • I can already see me not doing so well with this month - but as people have already said, if it's a magazine freebie it doesn't count!

Welcome newbies - Pippin, Caterina, Pinkphoenix and melh1979 - enjoy being on the thread and I hope that you find a UU system that works for you. I add £1 to a pot everytime I UU something and am saving for an IPad - to be honest, I could probably have bought the company with the money I have spent on toiletries over the years but then maybe best not to think about that....

Have my 2nd UU of the month:

Laura Geller balance 'n' brighten - no need to buy again yet as have more in my stash. OMG - have just checked stash list, seems I have 6 - how did that happen, darn things must have been breeding!
Tend to use this at the weekend when I want something quick and a bit lighter than my weekday foundation. Have started another already. Will be sad when I get to my last one of these but am determined to clear all foundations before re-purchasing any more.

I think it's just because it takes an incredibly long time to use up. It's definitely :money::money:but a bit boring after a few months :rotfl:

Also, because there have been so many good offers for Soap & Glory lots of people have ended up with a stockpile of the stuff! I think I'm the only one that still likes The Righteous Butter - I love the smell and I'm actually reluctant to use it up, though I'm getting close now. I only have one other S&G product so I'm lucky that I haven't been overwhelmed.

(I think that I have a comparable LHJ on my hands with two 500ml bottles of Bliss Soapy Suds though...)
