I think he must have wiped those joints.
Also the sleeves through the walls are no good as they are not sealed appropriately.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -

Hi.
Did you ask nicely, or did you make a complaint?

I asked them (Gas Safe) nicely for an inspection, now I am so worried I have just made a complaint to the m.0

There does appear to be a yellow/green cable from near meter to the electric meter? Is this right?
Installer said he will come back...hmmmm?!!?!0 -
Hi.
Nearly!
Earth clamp should be on the pipe before the tee, the section behind the meter.
Sleeve too short on pipe through wall. And, as you said, not made good.
Keep on taking photos you can use them as 'before and after' if you get Gas Safe out.
Seeing as you have the camera out what does the boiler look like?:) Please.

He says he will come back. But from what you have all said, is that the best thing? Worried about this earth wire, will it be ok? And pipe going outside, sleeve?
Here is the boiler - not level!0 -
Hi.
Not sure if it's the angle of the photo, but the filter looks very tight on top of the boiler.
Doesn't look out of level in the photo.
It needs an independant inspection to ensure it meets all regs.

I think you're supposed to have a bit of clearance on the sides too. That looks like it's right up against the wall?0

Urgh..more ugly soldering and unnecessary compression joints on top of boiler. I hope he flushed that soup out of the system before commissioning. Fine brass twiddly bits and castings plus self cleaning flux = disasterFeudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry).
