If one of your friends/relatives got on the show and complained about you, would you go on? Or do you know anyone who has been on?

My husband worked with someone who had been on the show. It was something to do with maintenance and he apparently just sat there while they all had a go at him. Thought it was funny.

Personally, I can't understand how people would want to show off all their dirty laundry in public.
Although you do get the idiots sometimes quite seemingly normal people are on there.
I wonder if any good comes of it. I can't work out whether JK is good or evil - I am thinking evil.

Do you ever get seemingly normal people on JK? Really? I can't stick JK, he is Mr Smug Smug Smuggity-Smug.

I only read this thread to see if anyone had actually been on the programme :o. Typically there's not a single MSE'er who would sink to that level - phew!

I've watched it from time to time and think he's possibly the vilest, most immature, pathetic little man ever to have been on television. He spits when he yells, insults everyone before he hears their side of a story, and jumps up and down screaming like a mad man. One day he'll have a heart attack...I just hope it doesn't happen on televsion!

No mever in a million years.

One of the mums at my sons nursery went on.

I felt so sorry for her. She was a 'nice but dim' woman that just wanted the father of her 2 children to care about her. She had a stutter and low self esteem and really thought this would help.

She was traumatised by the whole thing.I can't remember now what the problem was but I think he had many affairs.

I saw her about a year later and she had another child to him but he was still having affairs.

So very sad for her and all the others he trashes in the name of entertainment.
Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.
  • Oh good Lord no! I'm a pretty die-hard liberal but watching the dole dossers playing out their petty dramas on that show make me actually agree with Cameron and co about welfare cuts which is a very uncomfortable experience. Fortunately I have to work so I can avoid it most of the time. Seriously though all this "don't know who the father is" "he/she was cheating" sleeping around nonsense baffles me. I don't have enough hours in the day and night for enough actual sleeping, never mind sleeping around! How the other half live, eh?!

I wouldn't go on it, BUT...

I don't feel as if Ive had a day off work unless I've turned the tv onto Jezza! Saying that- I turn it on, then turn it off again after 10 minutes because it winds me up no end!

Do they have a uniform requirement or something? Girls- too-tight tops-spare tyres optional but preferred, leggings, hair scraped back unti eyebrows reach hairline, and large hoop earrings. Boys- baseball cap turned to the side, neck tattoo, and the inability to say 'th'..Such as 'I was, like, the fird guy, like, to have her wiffout, like, a condom, like'

If it wasn't for Jezza, I wouldn't even know these people existed!
Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

If you can't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them.

I will respect your opinions, even if I don't agree with them :)

I think it's very, very sad that people go on that show. And I think it's even sadder that it gets so many viewers. There are nice, intelligent people out there asking themselves what the point of living is...and then there are despicable, vile, commercial shows like this - with unbelievably idiotic, yucky (sorry, no better word for it) people on it. And then of course the self-satisfied, superior viewers enjoy it, because obviously they are so much better, and just watching because it's harmless "fun" and makes them feel better about their own little lives, like going to the zoo - isn't it?...It's just all so terribly sad.

I think JK takes advantage of the less educated part of our society.

He has made a career from goading and humiliating them. I am sure some will also have mental health problems.

As long as he sleeps well in his nice big bed.

    I have to agree.

I always wonder if he would shout 'OI........you waste of space' in the 'waste of space's' local bar......I suspect not as his army of studio bouncers would not be there to save him.

I would just love it if some journalist dug up some dirt on the smug self righteous prat!

    Nope, no never!

Hate "reality" type shows with a passion. Nothing like my reality or anyone I know, and I never find them entertaining.

I do sometimes feel a bit sorry for some of the people on these trailer trash type shows, I think some times its making money and entertainment out of others misery, and ignorance.
