One thing I do like is the way he asks mothers to allow a trial of supervised access for the fathers.

True, but then he spoils it by saying 'and if he lets you down just once you have every right to stop him ever seeing the child ever again'. Er, no you don't.

I'm always a bit disappointed when a DNA test comes back as the supposed father not being the one the woman said it was despite her saying she's not had sex with anyone else and he says 'you're just a dirty little... liar', it's such a letdown from what I'm expecting :rotfl:

Not that I've watched it much :o

There was a woman at our local supermarket a few weeks ago bragging about how she'd been filming for Jeremy Kyle and it would be shown in a few weeks to anyone who listened, she was really proud. The mind boggles.

Oh I think I'd have to think very seriously about it if I was invited on there by someone who had a problem with me. Don't think I could resist the opportunity to let them make even more of a fool of themselves :D

  • A couple I know went on JK about 6 or 7 years ago for a DNA test. They needed to have a DNA test because she slept with 5 guys behind his back (he thought it was one but she confessed all at the hotel the night before). They went on the first show and JK ripped into her, and on the second show the results came back that it was his child and she jumped up and started shouting "Ha! I told you he was yours" and JK said to her "Sit down and shut up you...you...you bike"

It was hilarious to watch as I know them. They're actually still together now and have another child and when she was pregnant my OH asked them if they needed to book a JK slot or were they sure this time :O

The majority of people that I have seen on the program are very bitter people that have not been able to resolve their problems in "real life" and so resort to JK. The fact that they get paid seems to give them an incentive to air their dirty linen to all and sundry on tv.

Not a prayer would you get me on JK. He's a wooden spoon that gets his popularity out of stirring.

I still have not worked out his "Before you say the lie detector is wrong, you past the first question" speech. That's not proving a test is right or wrong, if the test does not work, rendering the answers 50\50, there is a chance you could pass or fail any of the questions given, its hardly proof that the test works, if anything it would prove the test didn't work.

Another one is the "Have you ever had intercourse with any other person - thats anything from a kiss to sexual intercourse?" followed by "Have you ever passionately kissed another person?". Surely that question would have been answered with the previous question.

Heres hoping he is a big success in the US, so he can sod off with the Jerry Springer hicks.

The only people who go on these shows are the absolute scum of the earth. "My brother has been sleeping with my mum so we`re goin on national television to discuss it"...

I think they're all actors. At least I hope they are

They talk about sex wherever possible too, with details of text messages or how many marks out of ten a woman would give her ex for his performance in bed ... and people are watching at home with their toddlers in the room! ewww ...

They don't get paid to go on it, it's done for free so a friend of mine said.
