Would You Go On the Jeremy Kyle Show?

If one of your friends/relatives got on the show and complained about you, would you go on? Or do you know anyone who has been on?

My husband worked with someone who had been on the show. It was something to do with maintenance and he apparently just sat there while they all had a go at him. Thought it was funny.

Personally, I can't understand how people would want to show off all their dirty laundry in public. Although you do get the idiots sometimes quite seemingly normal people are on there. I wonder if any good comes of it. I can't work out whether JK is good or evil - I am thinking evil.

I can't even bear to watch it, let alone go on it, I think he is the most obnoxious little cretin.

My MIL on the other hand thinks he is gods gift and I'm sure she would be there like a shot.

Someone I knew through a fashion event I did went onto Trisha with her 2 brothers. Was so funny watching them all have a go at each other. Then they mentioned the roughest place around where I lived which made it even funnier.

Some people just have no respect for themselves I think. I can't understand why you'd want to air your dirty laundry in public (On TV) like that.

EDIT: Some of what JK says makes so much sense and is brilliant, then he goes on to make himself sound like a complete plank.

I watched a few episodes out of curiosity but found it very distasteful. Some people don't seem to realise what a fool they are making of themselves and I don't like the way he goads them.

Going on jeremy kyle is no different than users of this site coming on here already anonymous and airing there dirty laundry. Only difference being the show is not anonymous.

I find airing dirty laundry on here equally distasteful and would never do it.

Good lord no! I had the misfortune to watch it once, NOTHING would make me go on it!! I wonder if those people that do go on it, watch themselves back and cringe at what an a*se they make of themselves. I actually feel rather sorry for them.

the episodes that make me cringe the most are the 'children special's' ones he does from time to time, normally at Christmas.

He is so cringeworthy and earnest, it makes me feel ill. Often the kids look totally uncomfortable, and it's just all..bleeuugh!

God no. If l were PM I'd banish Jeremy Kyle from the kingdom for allowing a platform for chavs to air their dirty linen in public, and they only ever have one tooth between them!
