The investigation is complete and the outcome is...
I was correct, and they will be sending me an SIII. I just need to wait until Tuesday and swap the SII with the SIII with the delivery man. There we go, I got it in the end (well it still hasn't arrived yet but surely they won't get it wrong again!)
And he also reconfirmed all those 1000 free minutes, 5000 text and unlimited internet for £15 per month, and no charge for the phone. I've just checked the Three website which is showing the same deal for £821 over 24 months. I'm getting it for £360. No bad eh?
Still, I'm going to be putting the phone straight on ebay since I need the money after losing my job.0 -
Good result in the end then, I'm amazed they honoured it to be honest.0

That is a good result, well done.
Don't fret too much about selling on the SIII, it's a sensible move in your circumstances - and a number of my husband's work colleagues were recently given phone upgrades to SIII's, but the company is sending them all back, apparently they are all faulty, and prone to dropping the connection 2 or 3 minutes into a call. So maybe you will be saving yourself some grief ???I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0 -
I have a s3 no such problems0

Pity as that was an amazing deal.
My hubby who has been with Three for 2 years and now at end of contract would have stayed with Three but after 40 mins on the phone to retentions and retention manager, all they would offer him is what they offer new customers on the website.
The final nail in the coffin with Three is he received his final bill today and has been charged a £21 early termination fee despite being told he could leave on 15th June and did not port his number until 27th June (just posted re this in a separate thread)
Cannot wait to speak to them tomorrow and my hubby is gonna seriously fall out with them. The best things in life are free.....0 -

It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
