That sounds very good indeed. The only issue for me would be that I've read that T-Mobile block tethering on Ice Cream Sandwich.
The contracts where you need to look closely at tethering are the ones with unlimited data.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

It wouldn't really matter if they did or did not block it with a 750Mb allowance you would go through that very quickly on a tethered laptop. I go through 100Mb per hour just general browsing on the laptop.

I frequently tether my Android tablet and don't tot up anything like that with just general browsing. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.

I hardly use anything on tethering - it's when we're away in the caravan and just want to check local places on the web and download emails etc.
Just spoken to Tesco and the 500 mins is a 'booster' that comes as a text booster but then needs changing. So I'm getting there, but just need confirmation about the tethering.
Thanks everyone.0 -
I spoke to Tesco Mobile Shop and they say the only offer on T-Mob they have with S3 is this one 300 minutes and £50 for phone.

don't believe that offer for a second, i think mr davidtube either has a giant pinnochio nose, or he's enjoying traybakes in an Amsterdam cafe...0

Don't three separate the monthly cost for the phone then the monthly cost for the line rental? Or have I just not kept up with their promotions?0

Thought this might be handy for anyone thinking of getting a smartphone this year, as long as you don't mind Three. Here's the deal I was offered:
- Free Samsung Galaxy SIII (I made doubly sure it was the S3)
- 1000 anytime any phone minutes
- 5000 texts
- Unlimited data
- All for £15 per month on a 24 month contract (total £360)
He said he could have done it for £20. I was surprised and said I was tempted to do that with my own contract but I was probably going to go with a GiffGaff Sim only package since I was fairly happy with my phone.
Then he "spoke to his manager" and came back with a deal above.
I called Virgin Mobile to see if they could match it and the sales guy literally couldn't believe the offer. He thought there must be some catch since they've got to be losing money on that offer, and that it was cheap than he could get even with a staff discount. He mentioned that he was tempted by that offer and that if the offer is genuine, I should snap their hand off.
I went back, double checked the details and took advantage.
I think he's having a laugh at every one reading this thread
there no way they would let you have that phone at that price
You have more chance at winning the Lotto then getting that deal.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -

Anyone know if there is any truth to the rumours on the Three network going bust by October?
In that scenario what would the outcome be?0
