Galaxy SIII free on £15 Three contract - 1000 mins, unlimited data
Options
Thought this might be handy for anyone thinking of getting a smartphone this year, as long as you don't mind Three. Here's the deal I was offered:
He said he could have done it for £20. I was surprised and said I was tempted to do that with my own contract but I was probably going to go with a GiffGaff Sim only package since I was fairly happy with my phone.
Then he "spoke to his manager" and came back with a deal above.
I called Virgin Mobile to see if they could match it and the sales guy literally couldn't believe the offer. He thought there must be some catch since they've got to be losing money on that offer, and that it was cheap than he could get even with a staff discount. He mentioned that he was tempted by that offer and that if the offer is genuine, I should snap their hand off.
I went back, double checked the details and took advantage.
- Free Samsung Galaxy SIII (I made doubly sure it was the S3)
- 1000 anytime any phone minutes
- 5000 texts
- Unlimited data
- All for £15 per month on a 24 month contract (total £360)

I'd be making sure that the phone is free!
If you have indeed managed to get the phone for free....well done you! Cracking deal!0 -
Hells Teeth, that is a VERY good deal.I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0

Thanks! I hope no one who just bought an SIII for a lot more reads this.
I double checked all the details and specifically made sure that the phone was free.0 -
I'm trying to buy a Galaxy SIII contract today. How can I get that deal? Who did you speak to? I've just phoned Three and they won't budge from £34 a month. I'm currently with O2 and on the last month of my contract.
What's the network coverage like with Three?
Thanks, Paul0 -
I dont believe anyone will get that deal from phoning up. Its brand new top end and loads of folk want it - why would the network take £20/m off the price of it?0

As a new customer, I doubt very much you've any chance at that price.
That's a retention deal to keep an existing customer.0 -
If you can't get the deal mentioned above....
I got it from Tesco Mobile Shop on T-mobile two days ago...
£26 a month
500mins
Unlimted texts
750mb data (plus 2GB iCloud WIFI allowance through Sky)
AND
Free Insurance!
Also - which I had no idea about - the S111 has a data counter that will warn or block you when you get near the 750mb limit - and it continually searches for available WIFI so wont use the data as much as you expect.

That sounds very good indeed. The only issue for me would be that I've read that T-Mobile block tethering on Ice Cream Sandwich.0
