I'm half way through book 1 but i'm not really enjoying it as much as i thought i would.

The whole 'control/pain' element freaks me out. I think i'm just too stuck in my ways. To me sex and love go hand in hand. However, i am appreciating the dominant male, submissive female role of the characters. Maybe i'm as screwed up as the characters are.:D

I just read the first 2 books in the last 2 days. I don't have the third one! Gutted. In my head I know they are rubbish but can't help myself. It's like true blood all over again :o

I've still not read it and have zero intention of atm. I have been well aware of BDSM scene for many years and the book is not going to be any shock to me at all. Quite a few of girls I know, like a bloke to dominate them and treat them like a toy in bed, and some girls like to be the dom, and humiliate the man, most of it all comes down to control. Few though tend to be able to do both, and are usually one or the other, though girls that do girls as well as blokes are more likely to be able to do this I find, maybe it's because they can get down onto the level of a man and be able to think like one more than a straight person.

I am quite intrigued though by the story, not sure who I can relate to Mr Grey or Ana more lol.

I've had all three books for over a month now, but had a stack of books already to read so they took their turn.

I've just finished book one and about a quarter through book2,

one thing that stands out (not that...)
is 'Lions and tigers and bears' 'oh my'
driving me mad, i keep visualising Judy Garland in the Wizard of Oz

book one enjoyed the way it changed especially at the end, and how book 2 has changed again to vanilla.

to be honest, if's rude but not filthy, Black Lace is filth if that is what you want, if it was written for that title it would be what maybe it should be, it's lacking so far..

I'd say this is starter books for women who want to read p0rn

I did watch the program the other night and yes why doesn't this woman get cystitis, although she is every mans dream with no gag reflex.

agree with others this isnt really bdsm, (i'm no expert) but reading black lace books gives you a better insight, if you choose the right books.

……..… “Give it to me, give it to me”, he roared aggressively. Some
days Mary hated working at Ulster Bank.

He slipped his hand under the red silk.. “You’re so beautiful in that
dress.” he said — “!!!! off, it was only a euro in Penneys!” she
    replied

Bernies knees were sore and her throat was raw …. This was the longest
    Novena she!d ever attended.

“You’re so tight”, he said, I’m from Cavan she replied.

Slowly he ran his finger down the middle, parting the pink softness,
feeling the moist sticky centre. He loved a Mikado.

“She Quivered as I stroked her thighs. Take me in the shower Sean!” -
I whispered to her “Wait til I turn on the immersion”.

Her underwear was wet as he pulled the rope. There’s great drying out
today she thought as the clothes line hoisted

‘Its so long! Never seen the likes of it!’ exclaimed Mary, as she
    joined the dole queue

She widened her mouth, trying to fit it all in!! The Juices ran down
her face. Mary did love a kebab after coppers

Sharon was panting as she let out one final scream of pure pleasure.
There was nothing like beating Kilkenny in the hurling

She took a deep breath as the shivers rolled down her hot body…
Jaysus, she thought. The Vicks is kicking in now!

Come on! Pump it hard.. Real hard! But it was no use the tyre was
    definitely punctured!

He asked if she could handle more than one finger. She said “No, I
prefer a Hob Nob or a purple Snack with me tea!!”

That's it, it is rude but not filth! All these people getting all flustered by it and thinking it is really shocking must have had very sheltered sex lives! It's so funny certain people on facbook going on and on about it yet they are probably the ones I would class as being most sexually inexperienced!
