Good Morning everyone
I just doing a quick blitz with the vacuum this morning, then into the shower. My kids are picking me up @ 12ish, don't know where we are going, don't really care, it will be nice to see them & it's the thought that counts. I see very little of my oldest son, he works abroad a lot & his gf is in America for a year. Their time together is precious & I'm just happy he has found someone who loves him so much, he is such a sweetie I was always worried someone would take advantage of him. He's nearly 30, so really he is big enough to take care of himself!!
Hugs to all
Hester

Happy Mothering Sunday!
Just a quick post before Church. MATH mine does the same, so I'll be presented with a lovely posy of daffs towards the end of service. It really is a lovely tradition, and all the ladies get one.
Had a really bad night, tosssing and turning until about 4 or so, then I obviously fell asleep, because I woke really late and am now all behind:D
Hoping I won't be cooking my own dinner, we'll only have a light lunch because I expect there'll be *visitors* during the day, bringing offerings to the mother of the house;)
Well, must get off or I'll be going to Church in my jimjams:rotfl:
Take care,
Oh happy birthday VickyA!

(((((hugs)))))) to those with sadness today. My mum died this time last year, it was very hard not having to buy for her, so I've sent a donation to the Donkey sanctuary, 'cos she loved donkeys! You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -

Weather has calmed down a bit here although still snowing on and off, not lying much though.

MATH - your menu sounds yummy!
Had a disaster last night:( while I was taking DS2 to a sleepover in DH's van (its up a very bumpy track) I went over a big bump and wrecked the engine - all the oil came out and the engine is now kn*****ed:eek: I had no phone with me:rolleyes: so had to go to the closest farm to use their phone and it was like the 'before' on 'how clean is your house'   no sign of it ever having seen any stardrops or vinegar:rolleyes: just piles and piles of junk. Was offered a drink but needless to say I declined:rolleyes:
We've got to go and try and tow it back later and then get rid of it and try and buy another. We knew he needed a new one this year but as it was MOT'd till October was hoping it would last a bit longer. So I expect I am in the dog house now:rolleyes:
Nothing for Mothers day yet for me.DS1 still in his pit and probably will be till lunchtime - I'm not holding out much hope for a pressy/card from him but a little bird let on that my DS2 has bought me something with his paper round money:D bless him!
Hope you all enjoy your day
Take care xxxDo what you love :happyhear0 -

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY - to all the mums, and special thoughts to all those remembering mums/grandmothers xxx
HAPPY BIRTHDAY VICKY A xxx
Having a lovely morning so far, had a nice lie in til 9, then was brought tea and toast in bed, plus a couple of cards and some chocies!!! We all had a lovely cuddle in bed, while munching our toast, and we are now dwnstairs in our jamies, which i wil prob stay in all day, until i have a lovely bubble bath later this afternoon!!!!
Bought a lovely piece of organic lamb in Mr Ts yesterday, (reduced) so we are having that for lunch - which will be later today, as im stuffed with toast and chocs at the mo!!!
Have my bedding in the wash at the moment, blue skies outside, so i hope it stays that way so i can get it all hung up - we would love snow down here (havnt had ANY yet this winter) but hopefully i will get my washing dried before any comes our way (although lets face it, we will get rain or hail, not snow!!!).
Right, off for a browse, and see if i can get one of my 2 to make me a nice hot chocolate (i love mothers day!!!)
Have a lovely day everyone
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Morning all!!
First off.... Happy Mothers Day tp the Mums, Nans and Mums-to-be! And hugs to those remembering Mums and Nans.
Happy birthday to VickyA!
Gosh I am so tired this morning! Have got to get ready in a bit as I am driving up to Kent for a meal with my family. OH is staying down here as he is going to his DMs for a meal, is taking our pooch there. Have got both DMs the same pressie.... chocs and a pretty necklaceHope they like them!
When I get back from there I'll be ploughing through applications to be sent off tomorrow and Tuesday for jobs for September. I really hope that I can get something, so that we can sell this place and get a nice house in a family-orientated area, ready for when we are comfortable with starting a family! So many of my friends are already Mothers and will be bathing in the glory of it today, makes me so jealous and broody at the same time! I know I'm only 25 but I guess these feelings are natural at my age?
Haven't been online for a good week or so as our internet has been down. it is now up, and I'll be sorting out my website and selling stuff on Ebay this week, as it looks as though I am only working tomorrow (supply), Thursday (other job) and Sunday (other job). Off to London on Saturday, should be fun!
Hope it doesn't snow too much for those lovely ladies North of Watford!!
Enjoy your day xx

Happy Mothering Sunday to all the Mum's
Had a lovely morning so far, bit of a lie in and then a lovely card, a pot of moisturiser that I needed and some chocs which I'll be munching on tonight.
Not sure what were up to later but at some point I need to go to see MIL. If we are not eating out i will do some port chops with stuffing on top and roast pots and veg for our tea, might do a pear crumble as well.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
