Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 18th March. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

I hope today finds you well and us mothers have a wonderful day.
Hugs to all in need today, especially today. LadyGrim I am thinking of you. Moggins I hope you are OK.
Well yesterday.....(shines halo) I bottomed three bedrooms, landing and stairs.:T :T :T :T , been up chatting all night.
Dont suppose I will see much of the morning.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Plans for today....
Clean downstairs,
Change kiddies beds upstairs,
bottom bathroom,
iron uniforms,
clean the front garden, (not done today).
Roast chicken tonight with broccoli, swede, carrots and cauli. Also stuffing, roasties and leeks in cheese sauce followed by HM rice pud.
I hope everyone has a good day today.
See you later (much later!!!!!)

Morning smokybabe and all that follow.
Happy Birthday VickyA
Can't sleep. Wind is howling here. Just realised wind has stopped and we now have snow :j. Not much but still at least the weather report was right.
As yet nothing planned for today. Will pop to see my mum at some point during the day. Tried to convince my hubby that for us non-mothers today is also "Wife's Day" but he is not going for it at allWorth a try though
Have some ironing to be done so might do that later but that is about all that needs doing. Oh, and need to do a list of what is in the freezer as my budget "month" ends tomorrow so I will see whats left and plan meals for next month.
Off for a browse now0 -

Happy Birthday to VickyA x x x x
Happy Mothers Day to all mums and mums to be
im off to work in at about 7am, will be back by 10ish this morning as i only have 3 people on my list today.
i also watched a song for europe last night, i didnt vote, but i did think that the two finalist were the best of the bunch and i didnt mind which of them won as i thought they were both good .... i was looking forwards to hearing the entry from the Hawkins man...omg.... im soooo glad that didnt win !!!!!!
spent ages in the garden yesterday taking the top off our huge Bay tree. There was so much mess after, it tooks several trips to the dump, plus i filled up my garden recycling bin, the air was filled with the smell of bay leaves as we were cutting them up, can you believe it.. no one ever wants any bay leaves !!! i cook with them all the time, i dont dry them as i have so many.. if anyone wants any then i will gladly pick you some and post them to you.
it was a windy, rainy night, i thought it turned chilly as well. Has anyone got snow yet ? i doubt if we will get it down here.
hugs to everyone this morning.. special hugs to ladygrim x x x x

Morning smokeybabe, skystar and all who follow:
Happy Birthday VickyA and anyone else celebrating. Happy Mums Day to all of us as Mums ourselves, our Mums and/or remembering our Mums.
I can't sleep either, beeing watching overnight Sky home&health, shows how sad I am at this time of the morning.:o
Yesteday, didnt do much at all OS wise, went straight down from w*** to watch DS play hockey and then bring him home from Uni, Nottingham won 10-1 against Chesterfield, it was a good natured clean match, and good to watch, and of course DS came home very happy with the result. He's cooking a Sunday Roast today so, I am free to do what I want, which in reality will be trying to de-clutter the spare bedroom.
Need to have a freezer list and sort out, while he's home to help us eat up all that's in there. :rotfl: :rotfl:
(((((((hugs)))))))) all round, are Moggins and TM OK?
Take care all.
