Morning all

Happy Birthday VickyA

Lovely day here warm and sunny in Cambridge fingers crossed it will stay that way.

Not doing much today as DH is going way on a traning course this morning untill Thursday.

I had mothers day yesturday we went into Cambridge as it is science week and did loads of cool things then went to Pizza Hunt.

Need to do a meal plan for this week remembering that i am only feeding 3 for 4 of the days it also means i can cook things he would not eat;)

It's blooming horrible outside windy and wet so I'm glad I did the front garden yesterday
I had my mothers day stuff yesterday dh sent the boy's on their own and he did dd and I got 3 bunches of flowers from ds1 and a soppy card
I got a cd from ds2 and a soppy card (he's not usually soppy at all )
and dd made a card at school and she got me a cd so I was / am a happy bunny
jobs for today
bm to go on
wm and td
and the dw as and when
no cooking dinner today as dh will get a take out so I don't have too
have a lovely day

really wild here weatherwise, blizzards and really horrible, thank goodness i went up the woods yesterday to feed the birds

i dont want anyone coming out to see me today so i will get my cards later, will get kyles one as she lives nearby, i have filled my flask and will make some tomato soup soon in case the power goes off

had rain overnight but now sun is shining - snow/sleet is due here tomorrow!

Got my HM cards and pink flowers this morning from kids! lovely! n9eav I agree the cost of cards now are a rip off! I would rather someone spent £5 on a bunch of flowers or voucher towards a cd - something i can get more use out of than cards!

Mum is coming over for sunday roast, Ive made a cheesecake topped with summer fruits I had in the freezer for desert!

HAPPY MOTHERING SUNDAY

Hi Y'all,

Mini Math has stood sentry-like beside my beb since 5:30am waiting to be given the 'nod' to present his hand-made card to Mrs MATH. LOL I ignored him until 6:50:D

Nine people descending for lunch today, Menu:

Roast turkey with sage and onion stuffing
Roast Potatoes and honey roast parsnips
Broccoli and cauliflower cheese
Carrots
Gravy and cranberry dressing

HM Baked Cheesecake

Church while that lot is cooking. The Junior Church usually make posys and present them to the laydeees after the service on Mothering Sunday.

Lots of eating and washing up before church again tonight.

Good morning every-one, its been ages since my last post.Time flies so fast. havent been reading the posts lately so hope every-one is ok.I will try to read back on the last few days of daily threads to get a jist of anything important.IYKWIM?
I went swimming yesterday with my youngest 3 children and 2 of their friends came as well:eek: What a nightmare that was trying to keep track of who was where in the pool.Wont be doing that again in a hurry. I took them for a burger and chips afterwards. That was far more enjoyable.
Today i am going to try and catch up with some decluttering and general tidying up.Outside looks windy and cold. Clouds look suspiciously like there is snow on the way, so we will see. As much as we dont want it, its great seeing little ones faces light up when it appears.
Hope all the mums have an enjoyable day.Hugs to those in need of one. Take care, Love Elaine.

Was just going to say how beautiful and sunny (and very windy!!) it is outside - when, whilst reading the posts - the clouds came over and its started snowing!!!! Hopefully it will stop soon and become beautiful again!

Hope all who celebrate have a wonderful mothers day, and I second Math - ((((hugs)))) to those amongst us who find this day hard.

I have done little in the way of housework, and paperwork!, and really must try harder - gosh, it reminds me of my school reports!!!

Anyway, have a good day all - my kids are already good at OS, they spent their money on a beautiful bouquet of flowers and hand made their cards - which mean more to me than those expensive shop bought ones.

Morning everyone. Happy Birthday VickyA and Happy Mothers Day to all you mothers.

The weather is still relatively ok down here in Southampton, though a little bit colder than yesterday, so I'm glad I did lot in the garden yesterday.

Not much to do today, must ring my mother and do some washing but other than that I think I shall have a nice day of doing nothing, haven't had one of those for a long time.
