Thanks, everyone - it's lovely that you all remembered. Got myself a skirt & a cardi, plus a couple of tops in Matalan. I'm just getting ready to go to a salsa club - it has a restaurant upstairs so we're having dinner there, then we're going downstairs to face the trauma of dancing with lots of toned men wearing vest tops or white shirts, wiggling their hips like no tomorrow. I don't know how I'll cope, but I'll try my best.

28 June - Had a brilliant time last night - my legs are still quivering, as I haven't danced like that in ages. I didn't get drunk (alcohol & salsa don't mix well), & I found myself sometimes gasping for breath as I'd forgotten how exhausting salsa can be, but I rediscovered my love for it so I might start taking lessons again.

Sounds like you had a fantastic time, sounds really fun. Was there any one at all dishy and single?

There were loads of dishy guys, but it's very hard to tell whether they're single or not because sometimes they're there with girlfriends & sometimes they're there with someone who'd just a good friend. Plus some of them dance as if they think people will be watching them for tips. :rolleyes: Anyway, the nature of salsa is that you're going to dancing very closely together regardless of what they look like - thank God.
