    lol at the 4 guys supporting Murray with the t-shirts: M U R Y - are R and A getting the beers??

Back on topic: more washing on. It's very windy here and there's still another hour of light so stuff is still on the line. I have been decluttering also - I braved under the sink

:wave:Another one coming out of lurkdom here is if helps support this excellent thread. Like some others I struggle to keep our home as clean as I would like due to ill health/energy issues that are intermittant. So I have dipped in and out lurkwise over the last year.

Major motivation for getting on top of things is we're looking for a new lodger: nothing like showing someone round your home to see it with fresh eyes:eek:.
I've given the kitchen a much needed deep clean this week so hope keeping up with FL from now on will keep me on top of the kitchen.
Hall/stairs always clear, I just need to sweep and wach a bit more often.
Bathroom - fairly minimalist and never let clutter collect so easy to keep clean and have a bit of a routine there.

I've just discovered how fantatsic microfibre cloths are, and have bought quite a few:D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Do you have a secret time machine?

I wish! Go back and not do those naughty things I did!!

Just had umpteenth cup of tea - Murray is 1 set ahead at the mo - so time to put kettle on again and wash the cat's dishes - help - he's just come in with a mouse ....... time to rescue it I think.

Too late! We can usually rescue them alive and unhurt, but not this poor thing. Sorry if tmo.

I love cats but not their killing instincts; he doesn't often go hunting, thank goodness.

    Evenin' all!

Just de-lurking to say I'm still around as well! Still flying & reading the thread when I can - just haven't had time to post. That said, I have just finished work for the summer, so I'll be around a bit more.

I like the weekly/daily lists, they help me keep on top of things in every room and Valli's idea of an extra 'job' to add in is a great one.

Lovely to see L-L and Natty posting again too!

    love to all,

Just sort of caught up with the thread and I just wanted to say I like the thread the way it is!:) I've been lurking for ages and just popping in and grabbing the list then running and trying to complete them and usually failing miserably :o I want to get my house back, I miss having weekends off, and I need to get my work/life balance back again as I just seem to be working constantly or not at all :(

Right now I'm off to shove washing in the tumbledrier ready to put on tomorrow and heading for bed. I'm shattered. Its been a funny-as-in-weird day and I can't keep my eyes open any longer. I'll find my list and carry on tomorrow with more of a brain dump which I'm going to do now so hopefully I can sleep.

    Night all xxxx

Just had a HHC scrubbed the landing carpet with stardrops! Hope it gets rid of the dog p** stain that has proven invincible to everything else.

Do you count the hours til you can make a break for home?

From the minute I leave my house... I am a wee bit attached to my squalor!

By 5pm his sister was sh!tfaced... and COOKING.. knocked food everywhere, smashed a mug, put her fingers in the flames to rescue a piece of pepper she had flicked everywhere. To the point their dad went home to get away from her! ... I am quite certain there is no need.. and the more time I spend in her company the more convinced I am she has an alcohol problem.
