My regular breakfast is a fried egg (Tesco £1.30 for 15) with chilli wedges (potatoes £1.35 for 2.5 kg, wedged & dusted with chilli powder, 30 mins oven) and on week's when the budget stretches to it I'll have tomato relish. And coffee, obviously. I think the most expensive thing is the cooking
Overall cost £2 for the week.

This morning I've eaten 2 slices of toast with Primula light squeezy cheese on it, a pear and a square of 70% chocolate.
Other mornings, I eat a banana and a yoghourt, an egg on toast or porridge.Felines are my favourite

I am a creature of habbit so I almost always have porridge in the mornings.
I make it with half milk and half water in the microwave for about 2 mins. For toppings I like any of the following - honey, brown sugar, sugar and cinimon, golden syrup, dried apricots, chocolate spread or if we have it hot chocolate powder also goes well.
When I'm not having porridge I usually have either a poached egg on a single slice of wholemeal toast or I make my own musli using oats, branflakes, dried apricots and nuts - I like to eat it with low fat natural yogart.
If i'm feeling endulgent I might make a mug muffin:
2 tablespoons SR flour
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon honey (extra to spread on top optional)
1 pinch ginger
mix ingrediants and microwave for 1 1/2 mins0 -

Poundland still have the Quaker Oat-so-Simple range in their stores if you want yours done in about 2 minutes.
I like mine from the hob and done traditionally. Tesco's Value is about one of the best porridge range I have come across!Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:

Cheese scone split and toasted, liberally spread with butter. Yum. Taken back to bed and eaten as I read the paper. (I get up extra early to do this before a shower and work.)0

We have Tesco value bran flakes and organic milk. 77p for a massive box of bran flakes (less sugar in the value ones that the kellogs ones as well, also the EXACT same ingredients and nutritional content as the normal tesco own brand ones) does the two of us for a week perhaps? We like big bowls. Nice with some raisins or banana on top, and fairly good for you.
Not as cheap as porridge, but better than buying expensive branded sugary chocolate cereals!GC2012: Nov £130.52/£125

I have also made a chocolate one which substitutes the honey and sugar with 3-4 teaspoons of options hot chocolate. Was yummy especially when I added white chocolate chips to it. *Drawls*
