    Hi Lowesy,

I often use this website for breakfast ideas: breakfastandbrunch.com

They have a section on deskfasts and breakfasts to go that might give you some ideas.

We also have an existing thread that may help too:

Easy & Quick Portable Breakfast Ideas?

I'll add your thread to that one later to keep the suggestions together.

  • Actually, thinking about it, do you like porridge? Easy to make ahead of time at home, and then zap a portion in the micro later

I was going to suggest something similar, like buying a box of Ready Brek or supermarket own brand version to keep at work, but I'm not sure how OS that is...

I had porridge at work every day last year, you just need to get the Tesco value porridge oats (I think they're about 80p for 1kg now), have a look at the individual sachet ones on the shelf to see how many grams you get, then find a small tupperware that holds about the right amount. You can then use that tupperware to measure out the oats into a bowl daily and zap in the microwave with water (seeing as you don't like milk). You could stir through raisins, honey, any dried fruits or chop banana on the top.

However that is quite a traditional breakfast food, so otherwise how about something like peanut butter on toast with some sliced cheddar on top?

Any ideas? As well as the cereal/toast/fruit options, I'm sort of looking for something which MIGHT be left pre-cooked and could be heated up.

    TIA!

Creative spelling! I think its kedgeree..

We like to have drop scones/griddle cakes for breakfast, sometimes I make them the night before and then pop under the grill to warm up next morning..

Or what about something like sausages, if you have sausages for tea the night before you could do a couple extra and then warm up for in a sandwich?

I make a few days worth of porridge in the microwave. Keep it in small tupperwares in the fridge and then take it to work and nuke it in the microwave. Tastes just as good as when it is made fresh. Make it a little runnier than usual as it sets into a block. Just give it a stir and it is fine. hth.
